Yours is a valid point and one that I have made, and pondered, before.
From Microsoft's perspective it would have made much more sense to have given away Kinect for free with every unit and eventually they would be able to prove it's worth with better third party support. With a few killer apps, and lower productions costs over time, the losses would have been clawed back.
Right now they would have to produce more than one AAA Kinect title that appea...
It's worrying if Sony didn't have $450. That's the cost of submitting a game to this.
Totally agree. I've pre-ordered the white PS4 Destiny bundle. Not really for the game but for the white console. I live in the UK and we aren't getting the white PS4 but if I order from Amazon USA not only is it the white one but it's £55 ($92) cheaper than in the UK and that includes shipping and taxes. I would only ever have bought a US PS4 anyway because I own a lot of US blurays that I currently play on my import PS3. Win - win for me.
I've simply be...
I'm buying a PS4 and keeping my Xbox here's why:
Choice.
Besides, I couldn't stand the financial loss of trading. It actually would feel less cost effective to trade than keep both.

I don't tend to go for collector's editions. They tend not to be worth anything in the long run. In fact if something says 'Limited Edition' or 'Collector's Edition' you can almost guarantee that it'll be worth nothing in a few years. Of course, there are exceptions.
I'm a huge game collector. If you're in it for the money then it's all about games ahead of their time that flop for no particular reason or were niche to begin with. ...
I saw a speed run of Ocarina of Time in 18 minutes the other day.
If you look at the fact that it's possible to complete it in a few minutes then you're missing the point. You get out what you put in.
I have to say that I noticed that it played really well the last time I put it on. I read that they've changed a lot under the hood.

Unless you're from contintental europe, in which case your shoe size is probably in the 40s. In that case please act your shoe size. ;)
Lol
But seriously they're very different games. I really didn't think they were until I played the Destin beta.
It amazes me how many people want to turn a positive story in to a negative.
Framerate is important but I'd say that pixel lag and latency are more important on a per user basis. You could have rock solid framerates coming from your PC or console but if your display has bad latency or pixel lag you're going to have more to worry about and you'd be surprised at just how many, supposedly high quality, screens have these issues.
Wow. Just....wow.
I never thought of it that way. Can you have party chat on PSN like LIVE? I would want to avoid the screaming, swearing, racist, homophobic, misogynistic thirteen year olds. Same as on xbox live. You know the ones, the same kids that send offensive messages about people's mothers when you beat them, fair and square, and say you're cheating at a game they're not even legally able to play. They tend to do that when you stop them from camping or boosting.
I know this...
It's the same every generation. It's only with the advent of the internet and everyone being able to get up on their soap box and spout that we hear about it all the time.
When I used to be an import gamer we used to buy a new console and there may have only been three or four games available for it for the first year until it was released in the west but we didn't even think about it. It's just how it was with new hardware. By the time it finally released in ...
Great game. If you had it last gen it's still well worth a second play through on X1 or PS4.
If true, there goes yet another surprise. I swear that all these leaks make gamers the kids that found their presents before christmas and took away all the excitement.
I still have my copy somewhere!
By the disagree you got I'm assuming someone was standing behind you while you were playing and had a mind probe to see what you really thought. Either that or they're pathetic.
Yes, Sony actually pioneered the practice and one of it's early acquisitions was Tomb Raider II on PS1. No one has ever had issue with it before. All of a sudden it's a cardinal sin.
