@AnteCash Absolutely. That's the way it's always been in Japan. They don't buy a system on a promise. It's why Xbox has never done well over there, if the Xbox brand had a lot of Japanese centric titles it would sell well. Simple.

I don't know why everyone jumps on it. If you adjust your gamma - no more crushed blacks.
It was the same with PS3. I always had to lower the gamma because it output a darker image compared to 360. Now it's the other way round.
I don't know much about capture devices but if you can't adjust gamma then you will be stuck with crushed looking blacks on your feed. ...

Yes, the whole point of the pack in was to make it worthwhile for 3rd party developers to actually use its features.
Now it'll go back to being a first party platform and will be lost.
They should have reduced the price and given it away for free. It just makes me think that they may no longer believe in their own product if they're not willing to take a hit in order to get it out there.

The point of it being in every box is to make it worthwhile producing software for it, past first parties. If sold separately the installed base is harder to increase without plenty of software to justify the purchase. If the installed base isn't high then third parties don't see value in developing for it.

Most publications have a really warped way of grading, when you think about it. For them average tends to be 7 (or 70%) then anything below is poor. They should drop the price by making the Kinect free. They shouldn't drop the Kinect itself.
According to developers the reason they didn't support it on 360 was because the installed base was too small to make it worthwhile including Kinect features or making a Kinect only title.
If every Xbox One has a Kinect then it takes away that issue and developers will begin to come up with better uses for it, past simple gimmicks.

Bubble UPnP on Android works perfectly. You select the DLNA server you wish to use and the Xbox as the player and that's it. You can even setup playlists and let them play through.
It's designed for music but works fine with video and photos. If you're rooted you can even stream music from services like Spotify and Deezer straight to the Xbox.
I have to say that I never knew it didn't auto login if the kinect is not attached.
You would think there would be an option to set a default account but then it works so well with Kinect why would you not use it? I suppose, only if it completely ruins the look of your setup.
