For some reason - the bottom touch screen has always been smaller. Don't know why they want it like that. Probably might suck more battery power, I dunno.

..As to FURTHER dropping the pri...
I believe that it's been discontinued due to low sales.
I doubt they'd revive it now. They're still selling Wii U at a loss - and now they'll be doing it even more so.
People don't understand that companies don't just drop console prices for the fun of it - they do it when it's most necessary, because by dropping the price, that makes a bigger risk. If it sells too low, they'll lose more money than what they gain.
...So they finally show that they're listening to the fans by slashing the price to increase sales:
*Right in time before the competition launches
&
*With an onslaught of high-demand first-party titles...
...And that's a bad thing in what universe?
Lucky for you, it's compatible with the Pro Controller.
....Troll.
So now can everyone stop whining and crying:
"It's too expensive!"
"For $50 more, you can get a much more powerful PS4."
And all this with games like:
- Wind Waker HD
- Sonic Lost World
- Super Mario 3D Land
- Watch Dogs
- Batman Arkham Origins
- DKC: Tropical Freeze
- Pikmin 3
- Wonderful 101
...I think the Wii U will be just fine this ho...
...It's Gameboy Micro...reincarnated...
@Deadpoolio:
Nintendo Land may be just a pack-in ~ but it's been getting a good amount of attention.
Oh...and guess what? It's a casual title.
Well if they develop their titles in the same way Criterion did
(a.k.a - actually making a game that utilizes the hardware. That way, people won't mind buying it...*just don't release it so late*)
...Then they wouldn't have too worry about the "water being too hot or too cold". Releasing shoddy ports (Fifa & Madden 13) and rip-offs (ME3) isn't going to grab people's attention. I'm sure if NFS: MW U were released at an ear...
You forgot to mention Wii Party U in October and Wii Fit U by November-December.
Yes, I know they're causal titles ~ but they sold boatloads on the Wii. Those are the type of casual-crowd, attention-grabbing games the Wii U needs right now.
When did gamers and gaming itself become all about the visuals and the tech powering it?
I love a beautiful game. It's amazing to play something that looks realistic enough to give the illusion that you're actually experiencing it in real-life. It's pleasing to the eye, yes I know...But people these days are WAY too up in arms about graphics and specs...It's ridiculous.
Leave that for the videogame nerds to duke it out over..Not %90 of the ind...
Guess the FCC isn't keen to green-light a spy-box... /s
But even so;
I would love to know exactly why they're holding back from approving it?
Either way - this isn't good news. If they hold this thing back, then catching up with the PS4 (and even potentially the Wii U) is going to be a challenge for Microsoft. They were the first to release last-gen and they got steamrolled...Now they may get steamrolled out of the gate...
Ahem - Did someone forget that external hard-drives aren't hard to obtain?
For example: http://www.walmart.com/ip/T...
That's a 1TB portable hard-drive for just $70 - which is $10 more than the average 'AAA' game. That's not a bad deal at all - and seeing that deals like that exist, it wouldn't hav...
For an indie game (and an indie game about chess of all things) - It looks rather impressive. The visuals are really eye-catching.
It's nice to hear one dev compliment the hardware.
Wow. Well that's pretty smart.
Even though mobile gaming will never be able to hold a kindle to console-gaming; there are a few really impressive app-store titles out there.
You hit the nail right on the head.
So far both Trine 2 and Need for Speed: Most Wanted U that devs can 1UP their Wii U-versions in the visuals area if they really try.
I really hope SMS does the same here with Project Cars. When are we gonna see some genuine gameplay of the Wii U version?!
This article was incredibly poorly written. Some of his sentences didn't flow right and there were even a few grammatical errors...
But alas, I can see his point with some of the items he mentioned.
1.) When I said "break-up" I was only being silly. That was meant as a joke, not to be taken seriously.
2.) It was only a rumor, you know, the whole Origin debacle. It was never proven true...or even false, for that matter. But still - Let's say it is true - Why hasn't EA tried to push Microsoft or Sony to power their online systems with Origin?
3.) I wouldn't say yes either if I was Nintendo. Whatever profit is gained from the online se...
I can see them doing a bundle for one of them. They did it for 3DS and they did a New Super Mario Bros. Wii bundle for the original Wii.
I get it SN - You don't think anything under the sun can save this thing. I know, I know. It's going to be the GameCube all over again in your eyes. I know, I know.
The purpose of this blog was to show that Nintendo is quite conscience of what the Wii U faces right now, and now their revival plan has come to light.
A.) Announce a new line-up of strong first-party content.
B.) Ease back on 3DS.
C.) Announce a new bundle.
D.) Ann...
