I don't know why people suddenly get this notion that because the Wii U is the weakest - that immediately knocks it out of the park. It doesn't. We have yet to have a console generation where the most powerful system has one.

PS3 < Wii
PSP < DS
PSVITA < 3DS
...I'm not saying that it CAN'T happen - But c'mon...we...

I kind of like Criterion's take on Hot Pursuit and I love their work on Need for Speed: Most Wanted U.
Let's see what Ghost does with the series now. Maybe it'll return to being full NFS instead of an NFS/Burnout hyprid. Not saying that combination was bad...but I do miss full customization.
Beyond popular belief. Nintendo HAS been marketing this thing:
- They've had several tours
- They decorated Chicago's 'L' train with a Super Luigi U. decal
- They parterned up with Best Buy to bring E3 titles to the public
- They handed out flyers showing the difference between Wii and Wii U
- They sent out an email to all original Wii owners, telling them why they should upgrade
- They started releasing new commercials ...
And so the Sony butt-kissing ceremony continues.
When Sony jabs Microsoft - Everyone is like:
"Hazzah! Kick em where it hurts!"
But all Nintendo does is say 'Meh' and suddenly it's like:
"What?! No more chances - You die!"
Criticism? No, no, my boy
This thing what you call 'criticism' is used by sane, normal people. The Internet has about 5% criticism - and 95% of people losing their heads and going full insane.
And why would they need to use THIS as a way to "make-up" for Wii U's low sales?
Have you forgotten that the 3DS has been dominating month after month for a really good while now?

I'm not trying to bash Sony or MS for doing this. In fact, I like the way Sony went about doing this. They've focused on the things people most care about:
- Games
- Specs
- Online
...and everything else has take backseat in their presentations. Unlike Microsoft....

At their cores - The XOne and PS4 are just a highly upgraded PS3 & 360. Yes, they have their new controllers, but they still share the key qualities that make it an Xbox and a PlayStation. My point is - People have been dooming the Wii U for half the year. And everyone has been saying that when the XOne and PS4 release - it's over.
So what I'm doing, is highlighting how the chances for that happening, are now decreased.

Sony has been bashing and trashing the compeititon for a really good while now - and all everyone does is laugh and pat them on the back. Microsoft exchanges a few blows, and even though there's mostly a deathly silence, there's still a few chuckles to be heard.
But all Reggie does is say 'Meh' - and people lose their heads and declare complete annihilation on Nintendo?

I have a really close eye on DKC: Tropical Freeze. I didn't pay much attention to DKC: Returns on Wii - but I played it at a Walmart kiosk not too long ago, and I realized why so many people love it.
Tropical Freeze just may end up in my stack this year, along with my really late acquiring of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed.
Why isn't this listed in the Wii U section? Unity supports Wii U.
