Yes, sure they will.

And tomorrow ~ we will all be re-located to Venus as it has just recently been confirmed to support life!

Exactly.

Lego City, Nintendo Land, Splinter Cell, Rayman Legends, Arkham City, Deus Ex, NFS: Most Wanted U and ZombiU all make excellent uses of the Gamepad.

It was a different scenario with the Wiimote. While the Classic Controller (and even GC-controller) was there; the Wiimote was still the main controller and it was every kind of different from your standard controller. That's why so many third-party titles sucked so royally; since they didn't ma...

- And yet; the Gamepad is not a tablet controller. It was never meant to be. Similar to how the DS/3DS has a seperate screen at the bottom with the main action going on at the top; Nintendo decided to build upon that and turn that "second screen" into something more of like a magnifying glass if you will, into the main screen. Giving you more freedom and flexibility.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Batman Arkham City, Rayman Legends, Lego City Undercover, Splinter Cell: ...

I'm really curious as to what Nintendo is planning to announce. Correct me if I'm wrong; but isn't this the first time they'll be doing this?

Just Cause 3?
That would be interesting.

I remember when PS3 was getting slammed like this; Sony didn't kill it off, even though it was burning their fortunes. Same with Vita, burned their fortunes but still didn't axe it. PS3 has been hanging high at the top of the boards for a good while now and even little Vita is starting to live up to its name "life".

3DS also flopped like a rock for almost a good year, but Nintendo didn't cut it off early. They turned it around and now look where it is. H...

1.) Tell me which console in history has launched with a myriad of games?

2.) Define "huge". Wii was a standard-definition console going up against two HD systems. Yet, read any review for games like Mario Galaxy, Skyward Sword, Rayman Origins, Sonic Colors or Xenoblade Chronicles; and tell me how much reviewers complain about either of those games looking "ugly".

The Wii U is more powerful than the PS3 and 360; two systems that have title...

Funny how people keep insisting that specs sell consoles; when in actuality, they don't. How many people do you honestly believe bought an XBOX One or PS4 because they have 8GB of RAM, for example? These are CONSOLES not PCs. Consoles are optimized for gaming; so whatever software is released for them, it was made to run on that console smoothly (if done properly).

Say hi to NES, SNES, PSX, PS2, Wii, DS and 3DS. All less powerful than their competitors; yet took the stage...

Considering that "7-8 year old technology" gave us titles like the Last of Us, Uncharted, Battlefield, Crysis and best of all; GTA: V ~ I have no doubts that when you look at titles like Pikmin 3, X, NFS: Most Wanted U, Trine 2, Bayo2, ACIV: Black Flag and Project CARS ~ the Wii U should do just fine in the graphics-department.

Wii, as underpowered as it was compared to the competition, still had great-looking titles like Xenoblade Chronicles, Fishing Resort (look ...

Doubt it. Even with N64 and GC trailing behind their competitors, Nintendo did not bother cutting them loose and they still made a profit from both systems.

Even if Wii U sells behind for it's lifetime, Nintendo won't nuke it. They've only done that to one system and that was Virtual Boy; which was a failure in the making. Wii U on the other hand has a growing user base and a solid line-up of exclusives for next year.

Now, if titles like MK8 and S...

- Knack is a launch~game for a new, wildly popular and hyped platform. People need a game to play for their new system, no? Or are you the type who buys a new system just to re-sell it for a higher price?

- And wow; SM:3D World came in at #14 and Knack came in at #13. WOW! That's a HUGE difference, no? That's just like how it was TERRIBLE that 3D World was the 2nd-best selling title last week in Japan; but those sales were SO low. Because 90k in two days is just terri...

Excellent article.

If Titanfall were announced to be coming to PS4 tomorrow, Sony fans would sing "Hallelujah".
But what if Killzone came over to XBOX One? Then what would the reaction be?

I'm sure it would not be a pretty scene on either side if a franchise like Halo, inFamous, Killzone, Gran Turismo, God of War, Gears of War, Forza,or Uncharted visited a rival platform. You'd have people from each side screaming: "That isn'...

Well that's good for Sony, congrats. But that doesn't mean it's all over for Nintendo and the Wii U. Mario 3D World is only the beginning of N's mass first-party attack. DKC: Tropical Freeze, MK8, X, Bayo2, and Smash-4 are still on the rise.

Now, if those titles fail to move units; then something is wrong. But I wouldn't spell doom on the system yet. PS3 had a bad start - look where it is. 3DS? Now look where it is. How about Vita? Even that's getting ...

At least when N releases new versions of their IPs; it's always different.

Compare Mario 64 to Mario 3D World. Different.
Ocarina of Time to Skyward Sword. Different.
Donkey Kong to DKC: Returns. Different.
Kirby 64 to Kirby's Return to Dreamland. Different.

...I think you're getting my point here. Even though some core elements carry over into the newer titles; the game still plays, looks and feels different from past iter...

I find it amazing how much people are coming out declaring "THE TRUTH HAS BEEN SPOKEN!" Wow, just wow.

- Firstly; this is coming from a man who led one of the most successful game-companies ever ~ that has now gone bankrupt.

- Secondly; let's just "forget" that the 3DS has been topping charts for almost an entire straight year. Yeah, that's not happening at all.

- Thirdly; let's also "forget" that thi...

I still don't know how these sales equate to being "low". Seriously, it was the second best-selling game of the week in Japan; a week that was only about 2 days long, at that.

I'm really curious to see as to what the digital sales are, considering more and more people are starting to get their titles digitally.

Excellent piece.

Having a "super-powerful console" is nice; but it really doesn't matter to me, personally, how beautiful a game is, or how powerful the console the game is running on is. A game, like a woman, can look beautiful, but if at it's core (her personality); it's ugly (boring, buggy, microtransactions) - then it's a bad game.

Likewise, if that's all the super-powerful console has is pretty games, but nothing of any true...

Who says a game needs to look near-photorealistic to look awesome? The bright colors and fantasy aesthetics of this game is BEAUTIFUL.

Will be picking this up for Wii U, indeed.

If Nintendo continues their INCREDIBLY aggressive marketing campaign for the rest of the year; then the times when PS4 and XBOX One units are in a drought (sold out) ~ the Wii U can have the stage for itself, and sway even more buyers to get it.

Now, I'm not saying this WILL happen - but this is a Mario game and Mario games sell - a lot. Nintendo has even been bold enough to throw New Super Mario Bros. U + Super Luigi U in a bundle; even more Mario to catch the eyes of th...

You obviously don't know the difference between "fact" and "opinion". Go take some Language classes man, you need 'em.

Regardless of what you think; yes, I frankly did enjoy my NEW system (who doesn't enjoy new stuff?).

- I enjoyed the various multiplayer sessions I had with my brother and friends in Nintendo Land.

- I enjoyed the Internet Browser, which the only thing that is stopping me from loving it as much...
