"Should Mr. Iwata step down? I can't answer that. All I know is I really like the fellow. He's one of the few CEO's in the gaming industry who doesn't nickel and dime gamers, make people buy season passes, lock DLC on the disc, or try to implement DRM into Nintendo's consoles. Satoru Iwata is a man who understands games, coming before as a developer at HAL Laboratory."

You certainly make some good points; but just want to put something out there - they actually HAVE been using it.
Reggie has taken over the main Wii U's Twitter page on a few occassions, and in addition, Nintendo even hStheir own Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram accounts, that they post media to regularly.
And of course, let's not forget their two own creations which live on the Internet - both of which are very much loved ~ Miiverse and the Nintendo ...
And you better believe this is going to gather very little heat... I wonder how long this took to get approved?
The Nintendo-hate article creation switch has been set to max, and there's like 3-5 articles now being posted today from every last site looking for those extra clicks. Those articles are hastily proved and hit front page faster than a swooping ban hammer.
It's these positive articles that will appear on the front page only for a mere second...
I thought that the console versions haven't been sourced out to the testers yet, though? Unless I'm wrong.
It's the holiday season; when it comes down to most electronics - after Christmas time is up - they usually drop during the January-February, block.
Some actual footage from any of the console versions would be nice. We've seen extensive coverage of the PC versions for eons now...
Map it to one of the analog sticks?
NFS; Most Wanted U allows you to do that, if you want to.
EA sabotaged the launches of all four of their titles that they put on Wii U - so it's their fault they didn't profit.
Why would you say "Forget the Wii U" - if it's coming out on all 3?
There has already been some coverage on the PS4 and X1 versions of the game. Google it.
It could easily be someone playing a YouTube video or looking at a screenshot on Google images. I hope I'm wrong though.
Regardless, interesting image.
For someone to actually step out on a site like N4G of all places and discuss something like this is rare; but my friend, you make an awesome point.
I've tried to talk about this before - but that didn't get much attention.
Regardless though; I wish people would step back and see the bigger picture. In my eyes, it's just the fact that humans today are spoiled. They're being showered with all different kinds of wonders - wonders that most grand...
Well...If you're looking to create a game that pays a boat-load of attention to "next-gen level" graphical detail; so much so that a spec of dust has high-res textures; I guess it would take a little longer.
My little joke aside; hopefully game-devs actually focus on making their games fun first and pretty later, instead of the reverse. Yes; the next-gen means a leap in every category, but I just hope they don't lose focus on what's most important...
In all fairness; we're never going to get a video game that "doesn't look like a video game". You'll always be able to tell the difference from a super-realistic looking game and real-life.
I've had an itch for a while RETRO was working on something big. DK doesn't take a lifetime to make, and neither does it need the ENTIRE team working on it.
The nervousness of the employee who accompanied Reggie (who was also happening to wear a Metroid pin on his suit) ~ at the VGAs was pretty stiff when those questions were put on him, but he played it off well.
Nintendo always has big things lurking in the background, and doesn't say squat unti...
Motley Fool has a beef to settle with Nintendo; these guys love trashing Wii U whenever the chance suffices.
Interestingly so; I haven't seen them comment on 3DS' widespread success to this day - which is quite interesting. I'm not saying they HAVEN'T ~ I'm just saying that I haven't seen an article from them containing anything about 3DS.
Wonder why . . .
No; it does quite the opposite actually.
The big game-changer; SEGA was doing quite bad financially, thanks to all of their bad business decisions in the past. So by the time Dreamcast came around: a major developer had pulled out (EA - lost trust), consumers weren't buying it (lost interest and trust) and it was being run rampant by piracy.
So let's review:
- Weak sales
- No big developer/publisher
- Piracy
- ...
The way I see it; Steam OS is something that Microsoft should have thought about (who knows, maybe they did) eons ago.
Create a gaming-focused OS that is streamlined for the sole purpose of playing games and running a few other apps (like computer maintenance programs, video recorders/editors, photo editing suites and internet browsers). That defeats all of the deadweight, bloatware that has plagued the Windows OS and other OS for years - and why you really need a top-of-the-...
You can - set up a blog or website (there are a ton of free website and blog builders out there - Webs.com, Blogger, Wordpress, Tumblr, and Wix are just to name a few) . . . and spread the word about it's existence.
Write a decent article that will grab people's attention and boom - profit! Just make sure you don't get up with the desperate, click-bait crack that a lot of these "journalists" (like the author of this article) is on.
Or be...
The doom-&-gloom train hasn't lost steam yet, ever from since that announcement...
So it's not selling as much as they'd hope? So?! It's not ANYWHERE NEAR the end of the world for the system.
They still have quite a number of big titles (that we know about) coming out for the system. 3DS is still selling well and is also getting a nice amount of quality titles.
Until they announce that they are stopping production for the sy...
