@Lol_WUT
Yet it's coming to PS3/360 - both system that are weaker than the Wii U?
Yes, perfect sense.
Correction:
Snake = Sol'i'd
Never really tried any of the controllers from before the N64 era. Then again, I haven't played the N64 from since I was about 4 so..I can't really include it in my list.
But I rank it like this:
Wii U Gamepad - 1st.
Wii Remote + Nunchuk - 2nd.
GC Controller - 3rd.
The reason I ranked the GC controller last, isn't because it's a bad controller. Nope, on the contrary, I love it. I prefer to use it in some guys o...
I don't know why people keep getting this notion that because the Wii U isn't doing as hot as it should; Nintendo is suddenly on death-row.
Not even close.
Look at the unit sales for their big-name titles. They're massive! Even their 2nd-tire games have sold truckloads (Wii Party, Wii Fit, Wii Sports - come to mind).
They've done better financially than both Sony's PlayStation division and Microsoft's XBOX division fo...
When they release their new platform, in the next generation ( the 9th generation)
So, I say 5-6+ years.
Some third-party titles already look really good.
NFS Most Wanted U, Sonic Lost World, Sonic Boom, Trine 2, come to mind; and that's just what I can name off the top of my head.
Someone give this man a cookie!
No, seriously. He deserves it.
EVERY LAST ONE of his reasons were spot on. Congrats to this writer. I'm going to be following his articles from now on.
Third-Parties have basically dug themselves into their own little holes when it comes down to the Wii U. It's like they purposely sabotage the releases, just to have a "valid" excuse down the line. Seriously; it makes no sense.

While I agree that they need to release games more often; having time between big releases is a good thing; it gives players more time to buy and enjoy their game. Most people buy 1-3 games every few months. Usually, when you go to a game store, let's say in January; you probably won't purchase another title until maybe March or April; unless you're the type who REALLY invests your bucks into gaming.
Also; coming out with new titles in an increment format preserve...
I would be happy if they did; they truly deserve it.
I don't care how much weight they carry in the industry - they're a bad company. People say that others like MS and Nintendo need to be re-formed and rebooted; put in all honesty, I think EA should be the one who gets the switch-around first. There are people on the inside who are pulling all the strings; and as a result - some pretty BAD decisions have been made.
I'm not saying that they and th...
I find it nice how everyone is having *convenient amnesia* about titles like The Last of Us, GTA: V and Crysis 3. Remember those? You know; they were considered to be technological masterpieces on near-decade old systems. Remember them?
Considering that the Wii U is STRONGER than both the PS3 and 360 - really, the term "powerhouse" does kind of fit. Retro is a very capable team - it'll only be a matter of time before we see the fruits of their labor.

@Foxtrot
"I'm not saying I do....but I could turn around and say they haven't developed on other platforms to call the Wii U a "powerhouse" "
Well, by that logic, I guess any comments about the PS4 that are coming from dev-teams like Sony Santa Monica and Naughty Dog also shouldn't be taken fully, right?
Who do you think knows the hardware better; you - some gamer dude on the Net - or the actual team who only h...
WaveRace was amazing.
I've been getting my fix from Riptide GP 2 on my Nexus 7. It should be nice to see a full-fledged, jetski racer on the U.
Will be keeping an eye on this.
Most users on this site have it out for Nintendo and MS; they'll do anything and say anything to bad-mouth either company.
Pathetic - this is. But hey; even the media does it too.
It's like Sony and the PS4 are like God and the Holy Grail. Seriously - it's just woah.
One year in; and the system has already managed to produce some pretty sweet-looking titles; even though it's under the PS4 and XBX-1.
Pikmin 3, Need for Speed: Most Wanted U, Trine 2, Rayman Legends, Nano Assault NEO, Nintendo Land, Super Mario 3D Workd, Mario Kart 8, Sonic Lost World, DKC: Tropical Freeze, SSB-4, Art of Balance, Wonderful 101, Bayonetta 2, ACIV: Black Flag, Mass Effect 3, Sonic Boom and Splintercell: Blacklist
- are all good examples t...
I don't know why everybody thinks that:
A.) It's a cool idea to nuke a system when it basically just got out of the gate (it's only been ONE year)
and
B.) Think that Nintendo can just whip up a new system in 1-2 years and create games for it just like that.
By the time they release it - the PS4 and the XBOX One would already be at a level where the new system wouldn't be able to catch up. It's one thing t...
It's a Nintendo hate article. Of course it got approved. This is PS-N4G, remember?
Buy-out?
Who exactly has the money to buy them out? They're sitting on billions-of-dollars worth of cash reserves.
They aren't just going to fall off of it.
Sony is in a worse financial condition at the moment, and yet you don't see anyone dare lift a finger to say they should be bought out. Nintendo is in a much healthier position; they're basically the biggest video game publisher/developer/console-ma ker out there.

Tropical Freeze has been complete for at least 2 months now; you really don't think they've started working on something else, or haven't been already working on something else alongside Tropical Freeze?
While on plain paper it doesn't seem that way; there are a ton of characters they could have picked. Bowser, King Dee-Dee-Dee and Rosalina are the best ones they could have picked, to emphasize how "little" Little Mac is; but they didn't.
There has been a lot of tell-tale signs that N is in the works of a new Metroid title and this is the latest tidbit. It's starting to add up.
$2.99 Sounds better.
