They're promoting Child of Light on their YouTube channel; which is being made by Ubisoft - even though it's not exclusive.
If you look at the U's eShop; third-party titles have tiles just as big as the first-party titles and exclusives.
Nintendo does promote third-parties; but of course, they'll give their own products a bigger push. Sony & MS mostly rely on third-parties (especially MS!) - so of course they're going to appeal to the...
Microsoft is not a video-game company; they are, as you said - a TECH company. XBOX is only a DIVISION of Microsoft - just like how PlayStation is only a DIVISION of Sony.
Nintendo is a video game developer, publisher and console maker; thus making them a full-fledged game company. They aren't multi-sector like MS and Sony. They have more cash than the XBOX or PlayStation division; thus making them the biggest video-game company, financially.
This.
See; not even the head-guys in the corporations that these gamer-guys worship are as small-minded as them.
Even Miyamoto gave Sony some love!
@KonsoruMasuta
With a lack of games; what do you expect? It's a great companion to the PS4 - but at the end of the day, how many people are going to WILLINGLY shell-out $200+ for an accessory, that's actually a handheld console, with a good game every blue moon?
Devs keep avoiding it; which is strange, considering the 3DS is less powerful. Same fiasco with the Wii U; under-selling = drip-feed of titles.
This is going to be very interesting to see; and it makes sense.
Mario Kart is Nintendo's BIGGEST system-seller (excluding the Wii Series. The last three Mario Karts sold in the MULTI-MILLIONS. The lowest selling entry is Super Circuit; yet it sold 5 million+ units.
Moral of the Story: - This is Nintendo's ace card, and they're going to use it as best as they can.

While you have a point; I think the bigger problem is the fact that people, in general, are very small-minded. I don't mean that as an insult - it just seems to be the trend.
People don't read anymore. Unless it's spelled out for them like a perfectly straight-road; they get confused. They just see, smile and buy. Why do you think iPhones are so popular?
It doesn't take a supercomputer of a brain to understand that the Wii U is the newer syste...
I'm not saying necessarily REVEAL it. I'm saying talk about it; tell us what's going on. Yes, the surprises are nice. But good grief.
@Abdou023:
The Internet Browser has the most amount of hours; but I've spent 30+ hours in NFS: Most Wanted U, and LEGO City Undercover, as well as Nintendo Land an Pikmin 3.
The online was really stable for me. It honestly depends on WHAT game; and of course how good your connection is. I've played Sonic Transformed, NFS: Most Wanted U and Wii Sports Club - all online and all fine.
The Wii U's online system is just as smooth as th...
Wow; this article got approved fast. I checked on this a few minutes ago, and it only had 1 approval; I check back 30 minutes later and it's already on the front page.
Classic.
They've flopped around with the Wii U for a while; but they have yet to release all their ace-cards. They do have a knack for dropping megatons when times get tough... If E3 2014 doesn't show anything promising, then these "Wii U is Doomed" articles might have som...
I've had it for almost a year and a half. I've pumped over about 500 hours into it already...This thing really is a marvelous little system.
Hopefully its tides will change for the better as the year continues.
Yeah, they can.
Just like how N4G has personal restrictions; Miiverse can implement it too. If you get caught consistently posting meaningless messages on people's posts; then you get put on a time-out. But it shouldn't affect EVERYBODY, just to avoid a few people with no lives from creating a nuisance.
Dude - You've been critical of the Wii U for a good while now. Your bias runs high.
How do you expect 6 million people to just get up and drop hundreds of more dollars into the successor of a 1-year old system they just bought?
Unless you know of some kind of money tree; THAT my friend, IS A STUPID IDEA.
Too much pride?
Nope; too much common-sense.
It would be more expensive for them to bare with it until the end of the generation, than to cut and run now. How?
Because there are already approx. 6-million out there in the wild. Big games have already been created and released and of course there are much more behind the scenes.
They would have to somehow convince the 6-million buyers they just abandoned to upgrade to their new...
"Sony has never flopped a console and only struggled with one handheld?"
My boy; obviously you haven't been paying attention during the 7th-gen. PS2 sold in vast bounds; making it Sony's most successful console and one of their most successful devices ever, mirroring and then rocketing past its predecessor.
PS3 didn't do that.
PS3 was quite the wallet-nuker when it launched; even more expensive than the XBOX One. Sony lo...
Metroid Prime really set the 'mature' tone. A game doesn't have to be M rated to be dark. Infamous SS for instance isn't M-rated; but you sure can't lump it in the casual crowd.
Zelda Twilight Princess and Majora's Mask were just down-right creepy. Not something you'd expect to see your little cousin or sweet old grandmother playing.
Considering I got my deluxe bundle for almost $400 (it came to about $380 due to tax) - This kinda hurts, lol.
But if you read the thread, you would see someone who claims to be an employee said that because this is a discontinued bundle, it would keep getting marked down before it's sent back to the manufacturer. So it probably wasn't a mistake.
Regardless; it's a total steal to get it at this price. It's certainly worth MUCH more than $100 -...
Well that's quite interesting.
At least when the DC game out, it had a huge chunk of killer-apps to boost it up and carry it until SEGA finally caved. Not to mention the PlayStation came out of scenic nowhere and literally threw both SEGA and Nintendo off balance; as well as sending ATARI packing.
The sales of the PS2 proved that Sony was like a giant hurricane that even zapped Nintendo.
As for the Wii U; it's certainly proved itself ...
Miyamoto said it himself that he really doesn't know what more to do with it.
After all; it's racing-style was incorporated into Mario Kart 8, more or less. I don't know if they intend to touch it, at least not for this generation.
Apparently that's already been enabled, according to Nintendo Tech Support.
Everything N does is wrong in your eyes.
People have been losing their hair over how Nintendo hasn't been advertising their games that much.
They're having a year-long ad campaign for their most financially-strong title and it's a BAD thing?
... As to how you manage to have 5 bubbles and KEEP them is beyond me, with the foolishness you spout.
