One horse race?
You mean two.
If Sony leaves, two will still remain. I highly doubt we'll see the day-and-age where MS of all companies, are the king console-makers.
Bubble up for "Funny".
That one made me laugh a bit too hard...
Considering anyone with some good MS-Word skills can make this; I'm taking this with a huge grain of salt.
Regardless, if it IS true - It would be cool.
I watch Nick, Disney and CN more than any other channel (only 15, my friend - not 55) - And I don't recall seeing a TV ad for the Wind Waker HD. In terms of advertising; I also didn't see any posters or big promotionals like some of their other first-party releases.
Considering I didn't see a single TV ad for it; I think it's great it actually made 1mil without any real advertising. That's what you call brand power.
It could work. While Dynasty Warriors has a track-record for only doing well in JP; just remember people - the first thing that others are going to be realize is the big "ZELDA" logo, and Link on the cover.
That's what you called brand-power. That's why Wind Waker HD sold over 1mil units.
What the what?
Why on earth would they decide to sue NOW? It's been over a year and a half from since the system went on sale. What kind of .... ?
The system hasn't sold as well as Nintendo has hoped; but not only am I optimistic that it WILL change with the release of Mario Kart 8 (N's biggest system-seller, bar-none) ~ but I also believe that this year's E3 will be a MAJOR presentation for Nintendo.
It's only been 1.5 years - not 5. Chill and wait.
Yeah; no doubt, they did wonders with the Wii - them and some third-parties. Titles like Mario Galaxy, Skyward Sword, Xenoblade Chronices, Rodea the Sky Soldier, Go Vacation, Fishing Resort, Rayman Origins and Sonic Colors looked great; even if they were only at 480p.
MK8 is truly an amazing looking title, hands down. I don't care how much power the U has - if can keep churning out games like this (and a few other notable titles) - it will be quite fine.
Wait... So this guy makes a portable Ouya; which is a home-console, based off of an OS that powers portable devices?
. . . Certainly an achievement on his part, but a real-waste of time in reality.
Wow; that's amazing - it's in the Top 5.
I really want to get that ASAP...Not sure if by the time I save up enough, it'll still even be available! Regardless, awesome news!
@wonderfulmonkeyman
~ Exactly my point.
When the time-and-again proven system-sellers don't do anything.
Next month is E3. Highly doubt that would go without a murmur during that time.
IKR?
Really great news posted in this report. Hopefully it ends up being as good as it sounds.
And I wonder how much heat this piece of GOOD news is going to get; versus the several articles that sprouted up, once again putting coal in the large and roaring "Nintendo-Doom" train.
OT: This is some GREAT news! Hopefully the MK8 Bundle will continue this trend, and of course, raise the amounts of units sold.
Have fun waiting.
A comment posted on Wii U Daily summed it up nicely:
"It seems like we get doom and gloom articles about Nintendo every week and the media and trolls love to run with it and declare that Nintendo should leave the console business forever and go 3rd party.
I don't understand why Nintendo gets the lion's share of the heat when Sony and Xbox are clearly having troubles of their own that greatly exceed what Nintendo is experiencing. According to thi...
Kaz has lost Sony how much money? Sony is at WHAT financial status?
Barely see any articles on that too.
Well; it's becoming increasingly more obvious that people generally DO NOT READ. They just go straight to the product. That's why so many companies have started omitting printed manuals, and instead replacing it with a (simplified) digital version. And those that DO include manual, only have a small slab of paper (like this one).
In the end; while they sure were fun to read, especially during those rides back home from the game store in my case; they do end up decreas...
