Okay; so, where's Sony's case for the PS Move? What about the Kinect?
Honestly; this entire case just reeks of total hypocrisy and desperate cash-grabbing. I don't know how on earth PHILIPS managed to win this - but if a precedent has been set, I expect to see the other companies in court too. Otherwise; that'll be some SERIOUS double-standards.
Even though the third-party front is lacking; that's pretty darn awesome. I guess it really is going to be the next Gamecube; which isn't a bad thing because that thing had some amazing games.
Well in all honesty; it's better than the brown-gray color palette we keep seeing in all these "realistic" games.
Zelda is purely fantasy adventure; and Nintendo is like the Disney of the gaming industry - so everything is usually bright and colorful. That's not a bad thing - considering it's freaking gorgeous.
As to why you have to be like an annoying sore thumb about it - is just sad.
Honestly they stole the show hands down. I was quite surprised how Sony goofed up - considering how much they've been full-mooning MS with a giant troll-face. It's rather hypocritical when you think about it.
Speaking of MS; they didn't do quite a bad job. Minus Dance Central.. *shutters*... Their conference wasn't half bad. Ubi's own was passable. But EA and Sony can just go and take the walk of shame.
I like it how so many are moaning and groaning about how it's coming next year.
By now - people should be used to Nintendo keeping their games on the slow-roaster to make sure that when it's done - it's D O N E .
Even so; I believe they'll have just a few more titles this year until next year comes to life. Either that or 2014 will be a long haul. Worth the wait, though.
Trying to get accustomed to 3D and HD game development.
Unlike Sony and MS; they rely more on their internal studios than the big outside publishers. S & M could afford to take decades to churn out new first-party titles (hypothetically), because EA, Ubi, Activision and the like will be right there to keep their consoles thriving.
Nintendo is all about making their games as close to perfection as possible - because if they don't - they'll just h...
Haven't won a contest from since the beginning of the year.
Really trying hard this month!
I guess I must now accept defeat and try again?
Wrong!
First; I'll cry it off in the corner. Then, I'll go to the forums to express my deep, seething, anger for all the winners who are now engraved on my hit list. Then, I'll suck it up, and try it again.
Yes..That seems doable!
Oh my goodness; I nearly died! xD
This is definitely a good push by the Big N.
What better way to advertise a racing game, than at the most popular racing-event? Keep it up!
"Not 1080p?! Hah! Wii U is a FAIL!"
- Nope. It never was; and hey, it still looks freaking amazing.
"Not even a constant 60 frames. Poor Wii U."
- Considering that it doesn't hit less than 59 ~ I'm quite impressed. With all the activity going on at once, I'm honestly surprised that this thing runs so silky smooth. There are MUCH simpler games which don't even have such a high, and consistent framerate.
@Studio-YaMi - If I had to guess; I'd say they're shooting for an E10+ or a T. I doubt it would be an M, but even so; a T could probably contain something along the lines of this new villianess.
I brought up Bayo2 - simply because I was responding to the user who said they may possibly censor her on the English version. And I'm saying that seeing that Nintendo is handling Bayo2; this could possibly mean that they'll let this slide. She's obviously not as ...
Dang, I want one!
They look pretty good. But where's the "Wii U" logo on them?
A cornered beast will fight. It's about time. I really hope they spam this commercial as much as possible.
Very, very nice. To all the "smart" gamers who've been holding out for the U, because it's "too expensive" - honestly, at this point - there really isn't an excuse. There are WAY to many bundles; from both Nintendo AND individual retailers, for ANYONE to complain about the system's price.
Considering that ALL bundles come with a free game - both Basic AND Deluxe - that's just amazing.
Considering that the Great Fairies in Twilight Princess were completely topless, with only their hair to cover their nipples; I don't think they'd be to concerned about this new villainess.
Besides; they're funding and publishing Bayonetta 2 - one of the most sexualized video-game characters ever. Considering the English trailer shows her in all her...grace ~ I don't think they'll be doing much censoring on either of these fronts.
Owner of the Black "Deluxe Set". Got it a month after launch (surprisingly), while on vacation.
It's given me 1.5 years of pure enjoyment so far, and I'm pretty sure that it'll keep doing so until the 9th-gen.
They've actually been doing some really awesome ad-stunts like this from last year.
- Dressing up Chicago's L-Train with Super Luigi U.
- A guy in a Mario costume handing out free Wii U's with Southwest Airlines
- Demo kiosks all around major airports
- Sponsoring the Tour de France with Wii U
...Those are just the few I can name off of the top of my head; but now, they really seem to be pulling out all the stops. Of course...
Good grief; they seem to be making a commercial about EVERYTHING in this game! Not that it's a bad thing! Nope, not at all.
Glad to see N finally pushing the Wii U. They need to really start advertising that bundle too! But I guess they'll do that on release date. Regardless, good commercial, and hope to see a continuously more aggressive ad-campaign. This is what the Wii U needs more of; and Nintendo looks keen to deliver.
Because gamers are encouraging it.
They keep asking for these huge titles with "1080p graphics at 60 frames". The tech can do it, but the number of manpower and funds that is needed to achieve this, is insanely higher than what we've seen in the past.
Third-party devs are really gonna have to cut down on the number of AAA titles they release. Ubisoft is already looking at other areas, like what they're doing with the UbiArt engine (Rayman, C...
