Well this is good!
My main concern was how well it would be priced - and it turns out to be pretty decent to say the least. It also seems like it won't ONLY be compatible with Smash Bros U - even though they haven't really spoken of it as it relates to any other Wii U titles. "Wired Fight Pad" sounds a bit unnecessary , but who cares?
Not bad
I have both.
In all honesty - Lost World is actually a really good game... Sometimes.
It would've been awesome if Sonic Team just stuck with the Unleashed formula, but the new formula isn't as bad as most people make it out to be. I must warn you though, play it with an OPEN MIND. Don't jump into it expecting ANYTHING like the past titles. You'll only disappoint yourself.
But if I had to stack them up together; Colors is the b...
Even if they're taking a different approach - they're still competing, even if it's not direct.
In a brawl with Nintendo.
Honestly; people always seem to "forget" that Nintendo has been here from since jump-street. They were Sony's first "rival". MS simply decided to chase after Sony's crowd more-so than Nintendo's - but all three of them have been battling it out.
I've won in the past. Once by accident, and the other by surprise.
The time I put in the extra effort and try - I strike out xD
I guess that's why I was so upset. I'm over it now. I'll just try my best again, and see how it goes.
After losing back in June - I was so hurt that made a personal vow to not bother writing a User Blog, again. I mean like seriously - this place has some pretty dang good writers.
... But with my laptop's headphone jack and my actual headphones dying at the same time - That $50 Amazon Gift Card is looking pretty sweet right now.
... So; a Wii U launch title; November 2012 - is getting DLC in August 2014?
In WHICH fantasy universe does Treyarch live in? It's like they were all sitting around bored in the office and were like:
"Dude, what's there to do?"
"I dunno - got any ideas?"
"I got nothing..."
"Oh wait! Let's bring Nuketown 2025 to the Wii U version of BLOPS 2!! That'll keep us busy for a few hours!" ...
I wish electronics these days would last as long as they used to. Honestly - NOTHING last as long as it used too; cars, electronics, furniture, tools, etc....
OT: This is actually kind of cool. It's weird that someone actually decided to do it (must've been a "I'm bored. What random thing can I do for entertainment?" - Moment).
- I just wish their camera skills were better. Ever heard of a tripod? Or what about a simple desk or stack o...
I have really have 3... The XBOX 360 Controller, the GC Controller and (IMO) the best - the Wii U Gamepad.
All are comfortable, stylish, and functional - the Wii U Gamepad especially. After having that screen in my hands for the last year and a half; I honestly can't see myself going back to no-screen controllers. It's just WAY too convenient xD.
Considering he was just re-elected as President of the company by the Board of Directors with a HIGHER approval rating - I don't see how (or why) - this rumor could even BE true. It makes no sense.
And as the Internet loves to do; agree to anything that supports the downfall of something they don't like.
I know MK8 has it's moments, but Hyrule Warriors has hundreds of enemies on screen at once. It's kind of an unfair comparison.
But like I said, it was a passing thought. I'm unfamiliar with the Dynasty Warriors series, so, I didn't know it had om in the past.
I honestly think this is due to the fact that Hyrule Warriors is such a high-octane game with a lot of stuff going on at once. I guess they probably ruled it out because of it's intensity on the system.
You know how hard it must be to compute all that data across 2 (or more) connections, all of which are at different speeds/strengths?
Just a thought, though.
This is a common occurrence; so I don't see why people are acting as if it's new.
Many companies have to lose, or spend money - in order to make that profit back up later. Now, if they're BLEEDING money - then there's a problem. But, as long as they can afford it (Nintendo certainly can) - then it's alright.
I don't see why people get all hyped over the realistic artstyle. It ages A LOT faster than the fantasy/cartoony artstyles that Nintendo usually use.
For instance - Titles like Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess look horrid in terms of today - even though they were masterpieces at times of release. But titles like the Wind Waker or Skyward Sword, still look great. Even titles like Super Mario Sunshine and Galaxy are impressive, when matched up to modern-day titles.
It would be funny if there was actually some logic behind your comment.
Sorry, try again.
The one feature I've really wanted is the on-screen notifications. You really don't know you have a notification unless you either look down at the Gamepad at that very moment (and you actually notice the HOME button blinking) or unless you press it, and it pops up.
I don't see why this feature wasn't added from the get-go. This should be the simplest out of all. I mean, PC has been doing the "Heads up" notifications for eons now, and consoles start...
It has; but ever from since the PS4/X1 were released - it went right back to square one with the "It's not powerful enough!" rants.
It's lightened up a bit now, though. Nintendo has basically shut everybody up with titles like Mario Kart 8, Zelda U and Xenoblade Chronicles X.
And tell me; had the article title been "Wii U Version of The Swapper can Barely Keep Up with the PS3 Version" - everything would have been cool, right?
The hypocrisy in these comments is laughable.
When someone disses the Wii U's capabilities, everybody comes in boat-loads to laugh and exult the disser as if they were new-crowned royalty. Yet, when someone SPEAKS WELL of the system's capabilities - it suddenly doesn't matter anymore and then lines like "It shouldn't be a surprise" and "So what?" or "Well I would HOPE so!" - appear.
N4G ~ The Home of Backwards Log...
I honestly don't see what's the problem here.
Yes, it's weird considering MK is all about fantasy-arcade racing. Do the cars look out of place? Yeah - but - IT'S FREE. It would be different if they were charging $5 per car, but they're offering it for FREE; as in - you can CHOOSE to get it, or not.
And it also benefits them... It's called advertising. Nintendo is advertising Mercedes-Benz vehicles to all the parents who buy their kids ...
