I played 80+ hours of Golden Sun on my GBA Micro and my eyes still haven't forgiven me.
Same! I miss my Micro so damned much.
I was just going to say that I thought this game came out, but I was thinking of "Agony".
Wow. It's honestly surreal that Scorn hasn't come out yet.
Wow, I remember seeing a trailer for this ages ago. I had no idea that Rebirth came out. Weird.
Skate 3 was one of my absolute favorite games, so I am stoked about anything relating to Skate coming out.
neat! props to the photographer.
I think (after reading this sentence like 10 times) that he's trying to say that "real' car enthusiasts are too busy doing things with cars in real life to care about a realistic racing game. And even if I were to correct the grammar, the underlying point....isn't true. 80 million copies sold isn't exactly a "niche" audience.
"The Mt talk doesn't have any real effect on sales." You say that as if that's a good thing. And no, I am not referring only to Gran Turismo, but MTs in general.
I know that the Silent Hill HD "remaster" isn't the biggest offender on this list, but because I hold those games so dearly to my heart, the horrific end-product by an indifferent studio felt like a personal attack on some of the greatest "gaming years" of my life.
I mean, that applies to a huge swath of photography. Sidewalks, buildings, parks....They were outright created by people, or their design influenced the ebb and flow of it.
I'd also argue that as games get more and more advanced, with interactions within the environment and other objects become more physics-driven (aka: results that may be harder to reproduce because of a lack of "canned" animations) that we are going to get more and more breathtaking shots. ...
The winning shot is good, but there are a bunch in there that are even better (in my opinion). The shot of Aloy sitting and reclined back in the tall grass is absolutely gorgeous, The VW centered on a reflective lake (I think) is equally amazing.
The winning one does make sense though, has an old-timey, classic feel to it that is still damned impressive.
I think competitions like this are super fun, especially as photo modes get better and better.
I think the first one was a tighter, more focused game. both were a breath of fresh air in such a cramped genre.
Arkane's Prey was impeccable. I loved the first Wolfenstein reboot, Titanfall2 was a surprise. I suppose you can find a bunch of excellent titles, but it's obviously incredibly subjective.
Man, if we are worried about the untimely death of single-player shooters, I can't even fathom the discussion regarding the fate of 3rd person, fixed camera titles with tank controls.
Arkane's Prey was one of the best games I've played this decade. Such a criminally overlooked game.
I love how you got a disagree even though what you said was completely valid. All of this harkens back to the perceived "value" of a game purchase if you can "only" get 12-20 hours of gameplay out of its main story. If developers want a tight, refined single-player title with a well-told story that doesn't outstay its welcome, they should be allowed to make one. But time and time again, people shell out their money for the Uibosoft "map o' icons" and thin...
I love both of those games so damned much. Basically "Se7en: The Game".
I love how quick people are willing to lay blame on the developers. You are absolutely right. It's the morons that vote with their wallets and ask loudly why their COD or Battlefield "even bothers" with Single Player. And guess what? these publishers follow those trends. They see the completion metrics, and if a huge majority of paying customers don't bother with single player, they will change their strategy. What's most hilarious is how it's often the people who co...
By time travel, do you mean "Singularity"? because that game was absolutely wonderful.
Never heard of "Thrustmaster", but with that name, they should be making Fleshlight peripherals, not gaming ones.
