Moore's dead wrong. Nintendo just realized that Microsoft was trying to use them to de-thrown Sony with that Wii60 garbage, and Nintendo said no thank you. now to save face Moore (the orchestrator of Wii60) is trying to say that Nintendo will play second fiddle. no one knows who will come out on top. but though i already own a 360, my money is that Microsoft, at best, will come in second like last time.
Lost Odyssey? lol. yeah, Lost Odyssey looked kinda fun, but it looked nothing nearly like what hype led it to be. the graphics barely looked better than FFXII. FFXIII looks about a generation better than Lost Odyssey. i am willing to see how it develops though, along with Blue Dragon.
you call sites like ign.com and gamespot.com "sony fanboy sites", then turn around and use joystiq as a reliable source? JOYSTIQ, who found error with a whopping three out of twenty PS3 titles on the floor? and yet you criticize other people for their opinions. what did Joystiq have to say about the other games: Lair, Resistance, White Knight Story, MGS4, NGS, Heavenly Sword etc.? cause from what i've read over at ign and gamespot, these games are great.

sounds to me like wiisourceonline.com's a bit jealous that the Wii just lost one of its most appealing features, considering the fact that emulation's been around for a decade or two.
yes, these are realtime. even the one of Ryu. Team Ninja has went on record as saying there is no CG in NGS, and that even the cut-scenes are generated in realtime with in-game assets. just fyi.

i've tried to rationalize all this too hyperbear, but no matter how you look at it, Sony (Ken) just botched things big time. yeah, the games may impress on the floor, but the state of PS3 right now is critical. the Press Conference was Sony's chance to assuage some of the fears its fans have been having...about online play, about the supposed major announcements no one was expecting, about the rumors of Blu-ray's low quality, launch titles and prices, exclusive announcements...everything. ...

i just headed over to ign.com and checked out the CG trailer from E305. i gotta say that i'm EXTREMELY impressed with what i've seen of Motorstorm today. i never did believe the E305 trailer was the real deal (maybe not the choice phrase to use), but after seeing this realtime trailer, i quite honestly can't imagine a game coming so close to expectations. after seeing this, it wouldn't surprise me to see Killzone 2 debut with point-for-point graphical detail that its E305 trailer possessed...
just because subdivisions of the two entities have competing game consoles doesn't mean other subdivisions wouldn't support each other. its called strategy. if Microsoft and Sony were that much at odds with each other, you wouldn't be able to use Windows on Sony PC's.
only an utter, anti-PS3 fanboy would deny that this is absolutely gorgeous. if you still have doubts about the power of the PS3, or about MGS after this, then there's seriously no hope for you. some of the segments looked betteer than the trailers Konami's been showing. AMAZING!
