See? MS should’ve gone 3rd party years ago!

@Vits

You’re talking about consoles by comparing them unfavorably to PCs … ie, you’re PC evangelizing.

“Can anyone of you guarantee that if Bethesda (Zenimax) wasn't purchased that those games (Starfield, ESO 6, Fallout 5) would have been on Xbox anyways?”

WTH are you talking about? The status quo was always that major games by Bethesda (those not financially fronted by a console maker) would be multiplatform. There’s no reason to assume Starfield would've been any different, especially since consoles weren’t announced during the gam...

No one said they sold zero on Xbox. Just pointing out how Bethesda IPs would obviously still be on PlayStation (where they generally sold the most) if not for the MS buyout.

It’s almost like opinions and preferences can be disagreed with.

Worse, when Series X Pro (PS5 Pro) inevitably come out, guess what? They’ll be hobbled by Series S too.

Insomniac is also working on Wolverine and Spider-Man 2, both presumably single-player. If Sony’s other studios are at a 2:1 single-player to multiplayer ratio then I’d have no problem with that, as it’d provide enough variety for everyone.

@Gamer75

“… you still can’t just walk into any store that sells consoles and get either a PS5 or Xbox Series X”

Maybe not Series X but definitely Series S. And Series X, while by no means easy to come by, still has more regular shipment updates than PS5 in the US at least.

@TheRealTedCruz

Yeah, painting MS’ acquisitions of Double Fine, Ninja Theory, etc as negative is rather odd, as they effectively saved a bunch of talented studios from going extinct. Any objective gamer would rather see Obsidian, for instance, making Xbox exclusives than not making any games at all.

Activision is another thing entirely though.

Prediction: There will be a similar “gulf” between the PS5 and PS4 versions of Ragnarok, but sites will try to pretend it’s not a big deal, even sites now claiming that PC’s GoW is such a vast improvement.

Suikoden 2 is WAY too low!

That is all.

Please continue going that way.

Excuse what? Anyone paying attention to the last ten months knows the PS5 is capable of way better than this. Instead of trying to call people out for “excusing” the PS5, maybe you should take the game’s developer to task.

They think they can get away with it (and they probably will). They fail to realize that being pro-consumer isn't just something you do when you've fallen behind.

“It´s past time for Xbox to react. And now they´re in equal grounds.”

GTAIV episodes, ME1 and ME2 timed-exclusive, early maps for Modern Warfare thru Ghost, Bioshock timed-exclusive, Skyrim DLC timed-exclusive, etc.

Basically, it isn’t past time for shit. MS has been playing this same game for the past three generations. They just sucked so bad at it that they had no other recourse but to dump billions in...

“They don't need to advertise, promote or do showcases as nearly as much as their competitor has to.”

Aggressive MS got us the early days of the 360, when they sometimes outsold the PS3 2:1 in the US, and multiplats regularly sold at that ratio in 360’s favor. Then they got complacent, thought they could coast by on their past success, thought their success with multiplats meant they didn’t need to invest as much in first-party content as much. That attitude cost them...

Democrats did all they could on Nov 3rd 2020, but the other side keeps perpetuating the myth of stollen elections because their feels can’t accept loss.

Is that the issue you’re talking about? Or is it the one were Democrats are trying to pass mask mandates and get people vaccinated to stop a pandemic, but morons keep resisting?

@Easily

You know what matters more than units sold or subscription numbers? Revenue. Game Pass debuted four years ago, and each and every year since, PlayStation has managed to generate more revenue (in some cases double) than Xbox.

It’s impressive in the sense that it looks good. Then again, still images of Demon’s Souls remake look just as good, and that’s an 8 month old launch title.

I’m unaware of any controller having adaptive, force resistant triggers prior to the DualSense.
