thats just the thing. both developers can't be right. one of them has to be wrong. considering Ubisoft made their pro-360 announcement at X06, a Microsoft event, it stands to reason that it may have been the more misleading of the two developers comments. either that, or Ubisoft doesn't know how/doesn't have the inclination to exploit the true capabilities of the PS3 like some other developers.
one developer (Ubisoft) is saying that their game will be graphically the same on both platforms, but that the 360's improved threading offers improved crowd AI. another developer's saying quite the opposite; furthermore this developer is saying that the PS3 will be graphically superior due to the system's specs (not specifically development time). the thing about Jade Raymond's comment is that it was so vague that it can almost be taken out of context. with 2K Sports' Thomas, there is not...

if its a way for developers to exploit the power of the PS3 (which so far is roughly on par with the 360...which is a good thing so early in the systems launch), the the NEON Engine can only be good for gamers. cool, if it develops into something worthwhile.

to judge whether or not this bears any merit, i would like to know if every single 360 or Wii demo station performed to 100% capacity, or if any of them had tecnhical issues?
however, after a disastrous E3 and an unrevealing TGS, they better have SOMETHING worthwhile to announce. maybe a real-time, gameplay-footage demo of Killzone 2 with graphics that equal E305, the coup of key franchises as exclusives (Res Evil, Mercenaries, Ninja Gaiden...something), plus online-service demonstrations...anything. cause the way things are going, Microsoft is in this for a bloody brawl. they've managed to lock up just about every new and worthwhile IP.

nice interview. however, after the interview with Itagaki, i have a funny hunch that there's some discord in the House of Team Ninja: almost like one developer wants to stick strictly with one console, while the other developer wants to broaden the franchise to other markets. i'm more for the latter approach, as it will be beneficial to all gamers.
um dude, what the hell are you talking about "get real"? the dude asked me to prove that the PS3 had two HDMI ports, and i did just that. if you read my previous post you'll see that i TOO don't understand the need for two HDMI ports. and since adding HDMI support to a console seems pretty inexpensive, whats it hurt to have it as an added feature?
