Yeah and it will likely be on next gen consoles as well, it will probably push the current ones too hard if I had to make a good guess. But we'll see.
Yup, mouse and keyboard is almost essential for certain games, just like a controller is for others.
I tried those chilli heatwave ones just yesterday, really nice tasting. Not really all that spicy, just a little bit. Kind of like a slightly spicy tomato taste.
Link will suddenly be able to talk but they'll still likely have him mute in the next game.. Not that I care to play in a huge boring desert.
Maybe the next Mario Kart will be another bog standard single player racer that's not a patch on Diddy Kong Racing again. They've put out some good games but some have been overhyped and overrated for sure.
PS5 pushes nowhere close to max settings dude, take a look at DF's comparisons.
Same, I would rank the original PC AVP game better. Return to Castle Wolfenstein had a fun single player mode and good online multiplayer. Same for Soldier of Fortune 2.
Hard to beat Half Life 2 in 2004 with its physics and separate multiplayer mode tho.
This will end up in a similar position to Switch with third party games. UE5 will run like crap and so will other demanding games, PS5 is already falling behind noticeably if you watch DF analysis on frame rate, texture quality and resolution.
Hopefully Nintendo don't skimp on first party titles and content within them. I thought combining handheld and home console devs was gonna have a large difference to the amount of first party titles, can't really say I saw tha...
One thing is for certain, people are gonna have to upgrade to much better hardware if they haven't already.
Windows 7 was a great OS TBH, up there with XP. 98 was quite decent too.
I skipped 8 and went straight to 10 as soon as it released, I know there's 11 but I haven't tried it, and AFAIK there's another one due as well? So much for 10 being the last OS with frequent updates. I don't get the point in Windows 11 if 12 (or whatever they'll call it) will replace it so soon.
Does it allow you to chat or read chat? If so, that's likely one of the reasons, we all know how woke Nintendo is with things like that. Have to protect the snowflakes.
2004 was pretty stellar, Half Life 2, GMOD & Half Life 2 Deathmatch all before Christmas. Though there's a few other times with great games, everyone's chosen date will vary.
Have you not seen newer games tested by DF? Consoles are falling behind noticeably now, in terms of resolution they upscale from and frame rate.
It all depends on what you're good with, if you want to run performance mode and still expect dips to 40-50 fps or lower and find them acceptable then you're good with console if the game is demanding. If not you go with a decent PC.
Too bad it was a lazy release. They could've updated the visuals and everything. Missed opportunity.
It's easier to play now, that was only due to players crying about Mario World being too hard before it released.
Lost Levels was probably the hardest, 3 had decent difficulty without being too easy or too hard. These days the game seems to pander to too easy, unless you go on the extra worlds or special stages which aren't really part of the main game.
Interested in seeing how these turn out. An updated Goldeneye style game would be nice if they could take everything good about it but modernise it and expand/make better, without taking away that particular feel it had.
It does kind of look like that, but I'd wait for more video first for confirmation.
Apple obviously paid for exclusivity. Imagine playing a game like this on a touchscreen tho.. No thanks.
Even current consoles will hold it back a bit, possibly not as much as the current game on 360/ps3.. But they will for sure, see DF's comparison of Alan Wake 2 PS5 vs PC for example. Or if it's as demanding as UE5 games it could be even more of a difference between PC and console.
This video is a poor comparison, DF did it correctly by testing different settings, GamingBolt just shoved every setting to highest and tested that. Even just a 3070 nets 20+FPS better than PS5 at the same settings.. So your £2500 comparison is way off for a start.
@shinoff no I mean it will likely be on next gen as well as this gen. Could be wrong but given that the current GTA launched on 360 & PS3 I'd say it's a good bet. UE5 & Alan Wake 2 are already pushing the consoles too hard with compromises on resolution they upscale from, other settings and fps.
They will probably strike a decent (ish) balance on consoles to prioritise performance, if at all possible. Only thing we can do is wait and see for comparisons vs P...
