People always say piracy, you get that with any machine, and for PC it doesn't matter because Steam sells games well, so this is a poor excuse.

Seems the full game will have a good amount of modes, which is good because otherwise fighting games are pretty shallow and only good in short bursts.

Yeah I won't tell you, these guys can tell you because they know nothing too right?

https://youtu.be/YDmpaa3qmR... basically confirms my point. Thanks tho ;)

https://youtu.be/YDmpaa3qmR... Yeah clueless, sure, they basically just confirmed the point I already made. I don't care much for consoles btw.

https://youtu.be/YDmpaa3qmR... What a surprise, exactly what I said in the other article's comments. 30fps even on PS5 Pro.

848d ago 2 agree5 disagreeView comment

This is true. People just want to listen to marketing nonsense instead of looking at the hardware inside the machine.

Zen 2 (if it's still using it) will be a bottleneck, and it won't magically make <30fps games 60+fps even with a small speed bump, it's simply not a modern or powerful CPU.

848d ago 0 agree4 disagreeView comment

Still Zen 2, CPU bottlenecked games that run at 30fps (probably GTA 6) on base console will still be 30fps.. just smoother if there's dips on the base PS5.

Guess they couldn't afford a modern CPU in the console without putting the price out of reach of typical console buyers.

So far the rumours say it's still Zen 2 with slightly higher clocks, if true that's a big oof for anyone hoping for 60+FPS in CPU bound games. If GTA 6 is locked/target 30 on base hardware then a slight speed bump is gonna make little difference.

849d ago 4 agree20 disagreeView comment

I was thinking the same thing, but someone brought up a good point recently, if the base consoles are running this (highly likely) at 30fps, then the mid gen refreshes are likely to run at the same FPS, because it's rumoured PS5 Pro is using the same Zen 2 chip but just with slight changes, with higher clocks.

If that's true then the game will just run more stable, it's probably quite CPU intensive with everything going on. The Pro will allow higher details and ...

You forgot to add humour, that and the vehicle handling made GTA 3 seem kind of ass, controversial opinion I know but that's how I feel.

Same, I'll pick it up on console if no PC release at launch. It's not ideal, but if they're making us wait 1-2 years for a PC port, that is pretty shitty, they also know many who have both console & PC will double dip.. Again.

855d ago 6 agree1 disagreeView comment

Series S will be interesting to see if nothing else. Probably run at like 480p <30fps everything low. Wouldn't be surprised at all if all the base consoles are 30fps as well but obviously noticeably better quality than the Series S.

855d ago 3 agree2 disagreeView comment

They could do It and it would for sure run better even with current cards, nevermind next gen 5000 series that will come out later next year or early 25.

Double dipping/profit is most likely the reason if they don't do It.. that being said, surely they would make a huge profit if they released on PC at the same time regardless.

855d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

Yeah it may well not release on PC the same year as consoles. Not an issue if you double dip, sucks though considering R* started making games for PC first.

@andy85 yeah I'd bet on mid gen console refreshes being needed for this to run noticeably better, could be wrong but I'd give it a good guess.

856d ago 5 agree0 disagreeView comment

I think people said the same thing about GTA 4.

I don't think R* pull stuff like that or am I mistaken?

856d ago 21 agree2 disagreeView comment

Bets on it being a locked 30fps on consoles? I'd bet on that.

856d ago 10 agree13 disagreeView comment

Probably in performance mode and upscaling from 720p like the other UE5 games with an unstable frame rate during intense scenes.

Fun game and it had an impressive amount of missions. Though still not really enough stuff to do with the size of the map.

Thankfully shortly after the PC release modders gave us what R* didn't, online multiplayer. While it wasn't perfect, it did show us that R* should've added online multiplayer, I suspect either they didn't want to spend the extra time to make it resulting in a delay, or didn't want to show up the console versions as a lesser experienc...

It'll run better on PC if you have a decent rig.. it does now as it is.

859d ago 2 agree1 disagreeView comment

And then couldn't be arsed to make a third game.

If they can add a lot more stuff to a 2nd game in just 1 year why didn't they make a third game a few years later with tons of stuff extra? Because that shows they could've.

I know Source 2 was kind of broken and was a reason they cancelled L4D3 but it seems wasteful to just toss it away.

Don't know what Valve were thinking.. it's like nobody wanted to fix the issues t...
