So many great Pokémon memories, but my abiding one is collecting and trading the original cards. Literally nobody in my school had any idea how to battle them, but nobody cared.
There is always an element of repetition in the online multiplayer components of games like this. It just needs to have enough variety to keep people coming back, and have a solid single player campaign too!
Shame that it doesn't realise its potential, but gets what it deserves for being too multiplayer centric in my opinion.
Just a little more polish and this game would be far more appealing. It's just a little too rough around the edges to give a good first impression, sadly.

It's a good lineup, but not enough to convince me to pick up a Vita. Great little handheld, but it just doesn't have the library in my eyes to justify getting it.
Only suffered Bloodborne on this list but think Necrodancer would push me over the edge. Rhythmical nightmare.

Don't worry, though - there's a new Metal Gear Solid game on the way from Konami. The six gamers who somehow missed the whole saga are reportedly extremely excited.
There was little chance that Xenoblade Chronicles X would topple some of this big boys, but it's a stunning game. So vibrant that it's just a joy to explore.

Agreed. Heard so many good things about Undertale. It's even generated a negative backlash for some reason, which is always a good sign!

Don't knock the flat-pack trees in Goldeneye! Those two expansive Surface levels were brilliant, with camouflaged soldiers materialising out of the white haze. Classic.

Loved System Shock 2 but I do agree. It's going to be really interesting to see whether the new instalment can successfully update the franchise, whilst retaining the core the unsettling characteristics and attracting a new audience.

Played this at EGX this year but wasn't impressed. Sure the explosions are quite entertaining, but it just seemed too shallow and directionless. Appreciate that may have been a product of the demo, but there's something wrong when an open-world full of things to blow up feels somehow lifeless...
I wouldn't disagree with you on any of those points. I just hope that other publishers try to adopt the same respectful approach to creating their games. The only way it'll happen is if the gaming community force their hands, though.
