You have no idea what you're talking about. GTA IV's map size has nothing to do with the limitations of any console.

This article is right. Since the announcement of GTA V, there IS much speculation circulating around the village.

You've got to find it humorous that the site he linked to as a credible source to stay away from "these crazy stories" now has this same $5 bill story as its newest headline.

I actually liked that about the game. Sometimes you just want to walk around and be part of the world. Take in the scenery. And with the insane level of detail in GTA IV's Liberty City, there was a lot to see. I hate having to hold the stick half way in other games if I want to walk slowly.

But I'm sure GTA V will handle it just like RDR. It will be like GTA IV where you have to hold A to jog and tap A to sprint, but when you are in a combat situation, you will automa...

Wow! Skyrim has instantly dropped off my radar. Nothing else matters now. GTA V... I can't even believe what I'm seeing. Incredible! There is no other game franchise that can get so many people excited over just a simple piece of title artwork.

Clearly Game Informer rates on their own special scale that goes from the worst score possible being 5 up to the perfect score of 10.

If that's true, then that's great. That's more than Forza Motorsport 3's opening week, and that game went on to sell nearly 5 million units. Congrats Turn 10!

When they started showing the PS3 outselling the Xbox 360 again.

I'm surprised at Battlefield's performance.

Gran Turismo was once the undisputable champ of the racing genre. No one can deny that. But those days have long passed. The last GT game to score AAA, or 90 or above on Metacritic, released in 2001.

The Forza series began in 2005 and all four releases have scored 90 or higher on Metacritic. The first, second, AND third highest rated racing games of this gen on any console are ALL Forza titles. It is pretty clear which racing franchise is leading the pack this gen, and it is ...

Another conspiracy theory, huh?

Back when this talk of mods working on console versions of Skyrim was going on, Todd Howard was quoted as saying, "There's a chance it might happen one day, but I don't see it happening in time for launch."

A chance it might happen one day. You shouldn't have gotten your hopes up. But to blame Microsoft for this too is really outrageous.

It would be hard to find a place outside of N4G where people consider Gran Turismo to still be king. Maybe a PlayStation fansite?

Looks like another AAA exclusive title for the 360.

I don't know what's sadder. The original comment or the fact that people actually agreed with it.

Elsahdis' comment is referencing VGChartz. Hardly an accurate source for sales numbers. They were the ones who undertracked the 360 by 200,000 units in June in North America alone. The only real worldwide numbers we have to go by are from the big three's quarterly financial reports. So far we have numbers for the first 2 quarters of 2011:

FIRST HALF 2011
360: 4.4 million
PS3: 3.9 million
Wii: 2.92 million

Q1 2011

That's what price cuts do. According to Sony's PR for last month's NPD, the console was facing "inventory constraints at retail". So this month we see the real effects of the $50 price cut.
