Think about it. Even if the 360 had never launched in Japan, it would STILL be ahead of the PS3 in total worldwide sales. That's how small the 360's sales were in Japan.

Well, Gears of War 3 is officially an AAA game. Now we get to see how it performs in sales. It's looking pretty good, considering it has nearly 2 million pre-orders in the Americas alone!
These are the guys who gave Red Dead Redemption an 8/10. Guess which game won the majority of GOTY awards in 2010...

I love the visceral feel of Gears. There truly is no other game that provides the same satisfying feeling of gameplay. It is truly a unique experience.
This game is going to be INCREDIBLE!
Releasing it on Sept. 20th was a HUGE mistake. This was on my radar until I saw the release date.

This is a year for all gamers to enjoy, not just one console.
These lists make me laugh, because I know there will always be one party or another that will be angered that their game of choice was not included, or that a game they hate WAS included.
2007 has been the best year for games this gen, in my opinion, but 2011 is definitely shaping up to be one of the greatest. I'd rank the years from best to worst:

After watching the PAX footage, it's so great to see the gameplay without a crowd of buffoons shouting in the background.
