The terrible graphics, physics, gameplay, story, archaic PS2 driving controls, and the incredibly bland environments that completely lack any sense of character ruin the fun of Saints Row for me. I want GTA V to have a rich, detailed open world with tons of depth just like GTA IV's Liberty City. I want Euphoria physics, a meaningful plot, and a deep, immersive experience. I don't want a bunch of repetitive and shallow mini-games added to artificially extend the length of the game.
And this gen, the GTA IV DLC episodes were timed Xbox 360 exclusives. Times have changed since last gen. GTA no longer favors the PlayStation console.
"Idiot Gamer News" until they give another PS3 exclusive a 10. Then they will suddenly be a reputable game site again. It's a sick pattern.
Don't get off of N4G much, do you?
For what it's worth, games like these make for great Giant Bomb quick looks!

The first step was admitting there was a problem. At first, they denied the scope of these hardware failures, but once they admitted there was a huge problem, they took all the right steps. They had the 3 year warranty on all Xbox 360 consoles and today, the new 360 models have a hardware failure equal to or lower than current PS3 models. Now let's see what happens next gen.
Their numbers are right on schedule. They always come in about a week. And they are right on par with what Microsoft announced they sold over Black Friday. Sony kept their numbers hidden as usual, but once the NPD numbers come out, we'll at least be able to calculate the PS3 numbers by the monthly growth percentage, because Sony will still be hiding their numbers, while Nintendo and Microsoft are freely handing theirs out.
They've shown the PS3 outselling the 360 all year, but this one week in one region pretty much cancelled out all the yearly lead the PS3 had gained. And with the 360 selling almost equal to the PS3 in Europe, and the Japan numbers being tiny in comparison to the other regions, the 360 is going to be the best-selling console by far worldwide this holiday season. It's bizarre how the PS3 performs so strongly the whole year, then the holidays arrive and the 360 comes out of nowhere to do...
It is a hilarious game.

I take it you missed the article about the Xbox 360 just having its best sales week to date over Black Friday.
Then what would all the PS3 COD fans do? You know, the ones who made COD titles the first, second, and soon third best-selling games on the PS3?
Well, at least the 360 version would sell millions.
With developers giving their employees bonuses based on the Metascore their game receives, I'd say review scores are more relevant than ever today, for better or for worse.
Get back to me when Saints Row: The Third becomes the highest rated game of the last decade, eclipses sales of 22 million, and remains in the Top 10 most active games on Xbox LIVE over 3.5 years after its release.
Or just get back to me when the game's vehicles don't look and handle like Matchbox cars, or when the entire city of Stilwater or Steelport has as much detail and character as just one block in GTA IV's Liberty City.
None of these things...
I stopped reading at the first image which they suggested looked like Niko Bellic.
But what we got with GTA IV far exceeds the pointless filler from San Andreas that was left out. GTA IV is the highest rated game of the last decade because of its incredibly detailed world with so much character, its insane level of depth, sky high production values and polish, groundbreaking Euphoria physics, and hands down the most realistic open world ever seen in a video game. Saints Row feels so extraordinarily bland and shallow in comparison. Rockstar's open world games truly are o...
@Eiffel - Alienated a great number of their fanbase? LOL... GTA IV is the best-selling title of the GTA franchise, the highest rated game of the last DECADE, and the oldest game still in the top 10 most active titles on Xbox LIVE. And GTA V is just as hyped as GTA IV. It's predicted by analysts to far outsell it as well.
I, too, would put gameplay and fun above most everything else, and that is a big part of the reason GTA IV is my favorite game of this generation. The gr...
Such ignorant people in the crowd in that video. Not as ignorant as the typical YouTube comments, though.
I totally agree. Rockstar publishes such high quality games. They have easily got one of the best track records in the industry. GTA IV is still a technical marvel to this day. Red Dead Redemption is truly a work of art. L.A. Noire is very technically impressive as well. And GTA V looks to push the boundaries of what is possible in an open world game even further. The level of detail in the environments is incredible, especially taking into account the size and scope of the world.

You must be new to N4G. This isn't a case of Uncharted 3 fans. 90% of this site's userbase is composed of PS3 fanboys, which you will come to see rather quickly if you choose to stick around.
