Probably has something to do with you bringing up Forza in a GT5 article for no reason at all.
It's just some no-name blog using the VGA nominees to pick their winners. It means nothing more than any random person's opinion.
I personally prefer Gears of War 3 to Portal 2, but, with a 95 on Metacritic, Portal 2 is higher rated than any 360 or PS3 exclusive this year.
Saints Row is not even in the same league as GTA, let alone a killer. It's like a "straight-to-DVD" clone that is good for a few cheap laughs, but the low production values and lack of polish really show through. At the end of the day, it's not a very memorable or meaningful experience, and it certainly can't compete with what Rockstar is dishing out this gen; not by any stretch of the imagination.
I find myself more impressed by great graphics in large, open world games. I know they can never compare to the graphics of the best linear, closed world games like Uncharted 3, but I still find it more impressive knowing the scope and scale of the world. That's why Red Dead Redemption is, to me, one of the best-looking games this gen.
Metacritic does not pick and choose reviews for each individual game. They have a set list of publications whose reviews they include for every title, which you can see here:

People are so quick to call out bias that is not even there. It's truly pathetic. So a bunch of no-name blogs that gave the game a 10 are not included? Of course they'...
I certainly agree about the PS2. Oh, how the PlayStation brand has fallen since then. It's a shame...
If you use the same method with Metacritic to find the top 10 PS3 titles of 2011, only 2 or maybe 3 if you count the ICO collection would be exclusives. Same as the 360.
96 - Batman: Arkham City (10/18/11)
95 - Portal 2 (4/19/11)
94 - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (11/11/11)
94 - Mass Effect 2 (1/18/11)
*92 - Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception (11/1/11)
*92 - LittleBigPlanet 2 (1/18/11)
*91 - The ICO & Shadow of the Colussus ...
LIMBO is a 2010 release though.
Wal-Mart's June 1st is obviously just a placeholder date. And the May 24th speculation is based on the address number "2405" on a curb in the trailer. I mean seriously... talk about overanalyzing things. Neither of those days is a Tuesday either, the day 90% of all 360/PS3 titles release, including GTA IV, RDR, L.A. Noire, etc.
I'm going to predict the winners:
Game of the Year: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Studio of the Year: Bethesda Game Studios
Best Xbox 360 Game: Batman: Arkham City
Best PS3 Game: Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception
Best Wii Game: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
Best PC Game: Portal 2
Best Handheld/Mobile Game: Super Mario 3D Land
Best Shooter: Gears of War 3
Best Action Adventure Game: Uncharted 3: Drake...
What a load of bull. It deserved at least a 7.78!
Right... User reviews, where 90% of the scores are 1s and 10s, mostly from people who haven't even played the game.
Sounds more like denial to me.
Sales up 600% over Oblivion? I'm not surprised. Oblivion came very early in the lifecycle of both the 360 and PS3. The consoles' install bases are ten times larger now.
Remove the word "among" and take the "s" off the end of "games".
I hear the 360 version's case floats on water while the PS3 version's case sinks. I guess I'll be buying the 360 version.
They give everything an 8!
Skyward Sword? 8
Arkham City? 8
Gears of War 3? 8
Uncharted 3? 8
Forza Motorsport 4? 8
Skyrim? 8
Naughty, naughty Gamekult!
@NeoBasch
No, Oblivion won more GOTY awards in 2006 than Gears of War.

Metacritic has a set list of publications whose reviews they include for every game. You will not see this review on Metacritic because they do not include random, no-name blogs, whether they give a game a perfect score or a 2/10.
