Yes Gaming101, I'm sure you have done more research into this than all of Microsoft. /s
It's like Rockstar makes their games specifically with me in mind. I could not ask for more. The game looks absolutely gorgeous. Take your time, guys!

^ Grand Theft Auto V is the train, Saints Row IV is the bus
Sony pretty much had to take the initiative and announce the PS4 first. Microsoft is in a much more comfortable position this time around to sit back and see what the competition is up to. Things sure have changed dramatically for these companies over the course of one gen; transfer of power and all.
Developers cannot praise a console that they are not yet allowed to acknowledge the existence of.
I think I too got the ending spoiled for me on another site. Oh, well... This has happened to me too many times, with GTA IV, Red Dead Redemption, Heavy Rain, and so on. I plan to still thoroughly enjoy BioShock Infinite though, as I did those games.
Runner 2 is so good! It is one of my favorite games of the year so far along with Tomb Raider and Gears Judgment.
And imagine if GTA V had not been delayed. Holy ****!
My instincts tell me not to buy this game.
I have no idea yet because not one scrap of information is known about the next Xbox. One thing is certain though - I will not be buying both the PlayStation and Xbox consoles next gen like I did this gen. One just ends up seeing no use (this gen my PS3) while I play all multiplatform games on the other. The PS3 did serve me well as a Blu-Ray player, but aside from the few exclusives I am interested in, it has been left to sit under my TV to collect dust.
This year I am going...
This looks like a budget title.
Rockstar puts more work into crafting one block of their hyper-detailed cities than Volition puts into their entire games. And now they are desperately rushing this sequel out to try to stay relevant before GTA V releases. I have a feeling this SR will score in the low 70s or below on Metacritic and will sell nowhere near the past 2 games' numbers.
And the Xbox LIVE Arcade still is one of the best things about the 360! Nothing has been driven away. Look at all the stellar Arcade releases from last year: Minecraft, Trials, Mark of the Ninja, Spelunky, Dust, Fez... That was their strongest year yet. No one can compete with Microsoft in the downloadble title area - it's as simple as that. XBL has always been, and still is, a haven for indie developers.
I have a feeling both GOW games releasing this month will be getting similar scores. Both have subtitles instead of a number.
Microsoft is really stepping up their game lately. Some of the deals have been irresistible these last few days.
Best platformer since Super Meat Boy! I love love LOVE this game!
I'll play God of War for the single player and Gears of War for the multiplayer.
Gears is pretty much the only game I play online regularly because it's such a unique MP experience. There's more to it than whoever sees the other player first gets the kill like just about every other online shooter. There's truly an art to the way you combine rolls, roadie runs, and cover bouncing to maneuver around the map and evade your enemies. This is a game where a lone gu...
Well, the PS3 certainly didn't have a lack of third party support (except maybe near the beginning of its life), but hopefully with the PS4 being much easier to develop for it will get multiplatform games of at least equal quality to the next Xbox so that old argument can finally be put to rest once and for all.
The fact that the PS3 had only sold the same as the 360 is what is most sad! Coming from last gen where the PS2 outsold the Xbox by a ratio of what? 6 to 1? Everything does not reset when a new gen begins. Going into this gen, Sony had the strongest brand name in gaming - PlayStation. A household name pretty much synonymous with all things gaming. Microsoft was the huge underdog with the Xbox and they managed to tie their biggest competitor over the course of one gen, take over the biggest ga...
The only gaming site I would truly be sad to see go is Giant Bomb.
So you believe the PS3 would have sold anywhere near the number of units it has without the PlayStation name? There is no reset button. PlayStation is an established brand and the name alone will sell consoles. That carries over from generation to generation. Due to Microsoft's success this gen, Xbox has become the new household name synonymous with gaming. This gen Microsoft started as a huge underdog, yet still managed to triple their previous console's sales and compete with the pr...
