Another XBLA gem, loving it so far.
It seems that this gen, the focus of Kinect is more to control the UI and navigate through your content more easily. I don't expect many staged kids' Kinect games, but Microsoft still does have to appeal to the casual audience or they will be in trouble.
I'm so excited! I can't wait to see what Microsoft has in store. I am ready to be blown away.
To be honest, I'm more excited for the unknown than to see any old franchises return from previous gens. As we know, Microsoft has 8 new exclusive IPs planned for just the first year of Xbox One, so I'm incredibly excited to hopefully see some of these tomorrow.
Oh boy, more conspiracy theories against Microsoft. Joy! I'm sure it has nothing to do with the expense of airing a two-hour COMMERCIAL-FREE broadcast in primetime. Nope, it's because evil Microsoft is at it again! Please, spare me...
Same reason they are airing EA's conference, but not Ubisoft's. The timing. It just takes a little bit of thought to see that maybe, just maybe, not everything is some giant, evil conspiracy.
Very misleading title. What does this have to do with Kinect? Any device with a camera could be watching you in the world of Watch Dogs. This is not a joke, just an ad for the game...
Kinect will watch you 24/7? Nope! Must have missed the memo just the other day:
"You are in control of what Kinect can see and hear: By design, you will determine how responsive and personalized your Xbox One is to you and your family during setup. The system will navigate you through key privacy options, like automatic or manual sign in, privacy settings, and clear notifications about how data is used. When Xbox One is on and you’re simply having a conversation in your ...
Can't wait, but please let me rent games Microsoft!
I don't think I've ever before seen the tone of a game series change so dramatically as the Saints Row franchise has.
No way! The current gen is not over until the GTA V credits are rolling on my TV.
Except they said all along that the reveal would be focused on the hardware and the new features, while their E3 conference would be focused on games.
Most of the time I cannot afford to purchase my games new so I rely on GameFly to get my gaming fix. If I can't rent games on the Xbox One because of these used game policies, then I will have no choice but to go with the PS4 this coming gen. If both companies restrict used games then I may be done with gaming altogether.
But do they mocap dogs? I didn't think so.
I haven't been this excited about gaming since... Hell, February 20!
Finally we will see the true potential of Kinect with the power of the next Xbox. The Xbox 360 has really been the biggest thing holding back Kinect. Simply shipping with every unit will really allow developers to experiment knowing every person who buys their game will have the Kinect camera. And with all the extra processing power, Kinect will actually work like it's supposed to!
Well, I would first like to point out that Halo 4 is the fastest-selling entry in the entire series:
http://venturebeat.com/2013...
As for those other games... Forza Horizon is a spinoff from the main series. Fable: Journey is a Kinect game so it sees only a fraction of the install base to sell to. Gears Judgment is a prequel comi...
This is way better than the real thing.
Microsoft does not allow games on their console unless they release simultaneously with other versions. That's why when Microsoft stole exclusives (like GTA IV, FFXIII, etc) they all released day and date with the PS3 version.
Sony does not have this rule, so they get the 360's hand-me-downs like Mass Effect 2, haha! Sony does require exclusive bonus content when a game comes to their platform late, though.
I want to use Kinect voice controls to select my video.
No doubt about it. Simply look at Xbox LIVE Arcade and it speaks for itself.
