I love that the mouse cursor on the in-game Internet is flipping us off!
One minute left until the gameplay video!
I am absolutely stunned... heartbroken... speechless...
I love Giant Bomb. I just subscribed to be a premium member. I have watched this man for years. Just last night I watched a 2 hour episode of Unprofessional Fridays with this man in it. He has brought me so much joy and laughter. This is surreal...
He will be deeply missed.
Indeed.
Oh great! This just reminded me we will probably see button prompts during the gameplay, which will spark a console war over which version they chose to show for the gameplay video. Despite the fact Rockstar have already stated both versions were developed simultaneously, and are nearly identical, with any difference being negligible.
If you read a bit farther into the article, you can see this exact quote from the Sony rep:
"So it's great to be going to market with what we believe is the most powerful gaming device ever conceived and certainly ever developed"
Absolutely agree. My biggest fear for GTA V is that they will simplify the driving to a more arcade style, which would really ruin a lot of the game for me. Driving was so dynamic and engaging in GTA IV. That's why I keep going back to that 5 year old game. I can't stand the driving mechanics in other open world games like Saints Row or *shudder*... Sleeping Dogs. It feels like going back to the PS2 era. Rockstar, please don't disappoint me!
Well, that won't be the case on the Xbox One at least, considering Microsoft's cloud servers will host dedicated games for every XB1 title. No more P2P.
Really? Can you tell by his face that he founded a game development studio at the age of 17 that was later acquired by EA?
Uh... that game with scripted fish? Ghosts has procedural fish AI. Clearly they are taking advantage of the next gen hardware.
The Giant Bomb Quick Look of this game is absolutely hilarious:

Rockstar is another one of those rare developers.
Did I read that right? They're going to release an actual gameplay video of a GTA title? This is not the Rockstar I know!
I thought it was against Microsoft's policies to require an install considering not all Xbox 360 consoles shipped with an HDD. GTA V will be the first game I'm aware of that will require an install to play on the 360. There have been optional installs in the past like installing additional cars for Forza 4 or multiplayer for Halo 4, but none were mandatory for playing the base game. Rockstar must have worked out a special deal with Microsoft.
Exactly. I would have watched the Microsoft conference on Spike but I don't have cable, so I watched it on the 360 live player. I watched the Sony conference on Twitch.
On N4G:
Developer praises Xbox = paid
Developer praises PlayStation = speaking from the heart
Please Rockstar, give me a bow and arrow to hunt in GTA V!
So it's:
Titanfall
Dead Rising 3
Sunset Overdrive
Project Spark
Forza Motorsport 5
Quantum Break
D4
Ryse: Son of Rome
Killer Instinct
Fantasia: Music Evolved
Halo 5
Crimson Dragon
Below
vs.
Knack
Killzone: Shadow Fall
InFamous: Second Son
Drive Club
The Order: 1886
Octodad?
Deep Down?
I was really into Dead Rising 3, and I prefer this new direction than the more goofy direction the series has taken in the past. Ryse looked very good and original. Quantum Break looks promising, but no actual gameplay to judge. Forza Motorsport 5 looks beautiful as expected and the "Drivatar" concept sounds interesting.
Overall, Microsoft did a really good job showing nothing but games, games, games and revealed tons of new exclusive IPs. No boring powerpoint prese...
No. GTA IV is what it should have been and GTA V is what it should be. We don't want the same game every time.
