There is no other developer as passionate about their games as Rockstar. None!
I didn't think it was possible for an open world game to be more detailed than GTA IV, but Rockstar has done it again! GTA V might actually be able to surpass GTA IV to become the highest rated game of this gen. Rockstar's games truly are in a league of their own.
Red Dead Redemption seems more like a game that should be a one-time experience that does not need a sequel. Yes, I know Red Dead Redemption itself was a sequel but it was completely a night and day difference from its predecessor. RDR was a masterpiece but I don't need another one.
From reading the GI article, it became clear to me that more effort has gone into creating GTA V than any other 10 games. How people can complain about such petty things as character customization and buying properties is beyond me. I've never read about a game this ambitious before. The preview left me awestruck. This sounds like my dream game. If Rockstar pulls this off, this would be the last video game I ever need to play. I could die a happy man! Every game I play between now and GTA...
This game sounds too ambitious for words. It is always so refreshing when a Rockstar game releases to break the monotony of all the boring rehashes and sequels with more of the same that seems to be 90% of what we get these days. In fact, Rockstar's games are really the only ones that get me truly excited anymore. GTA IV is my favorite game of this gen, RDR is my second favorite, I loved L.A. I have yet to play Halo 4, but Forza Horizon has really taken me by surprise and blown me away when it comes to graphics. It is easily the best-looking open world game I have ever played and definitely a contender for best graphics of the year alongside Halo 4.

I don't see how anyone can really argue with this. Halo - love it or hate it, you can't deny how influential it has been.
Halo 4 could drop to a 65 average on Metacritic and it would still be the best-selling exclusive this year by miles. Millions will be enjoying the hell out of this game no matter what the reviews say. And 95% of the reviews have been positive, so either way Microsoft has got another winner on their hands here.

EGM hasn't been relevant for 10 years. The editors probably told this guy to give it a low score to drum up page views for the advertisors.
On Metacritic, the game currently has more perfect scores than it has scores under 9, with the lowest score being an 8. Sounds pretty positive to me!
This should be an easy choice. Most Wanted if you only own a PS3, Forza Horizon if you only own a 360, and Forza Horizon if you own both consoles.
A well deserved score. It has been so great to be an Xbox 360 owner this year!
GTA IV remains my favorite game of all time to this day. I can't wait for Spring 2013!
