I love Pachter's air of superiority. I always get a kick out of watching this guy talk. He's so full of himself.
Xbox 360 and 3DS dominating the charts!
I loved the Forza Motorsport series this gen. Best racing series on any console. I wonder if it can maintain its place as the highest-rated racing franchise going into the next gen.
The controller looks incredibly slick. I can't wait to hold it in my hands.
My personal favorite is Grand Theft Auto IV, with Red Dead Redemption a close second. You can probably guess who my favorite developer of this generation is.
Never underestimate the competition.
You just fail to look at the bigger picture. The PlayStation fan base was 6 times the Xbox fan base coming into this gen. 7 years later, they are now relatively equal in size. Despite being more expensive and launching a year later, that big "PlayStation" stamp on the side of the box is all it takes to sell many a console. That is a powerful brand and Xbox is now very powerful as well, unlike it was back in 2005.
I would say it takes a fractured mindset to consider ...
The PS2 hit 120 million in its 7th year:

It went on to sell over 150 million units.
The big difference is that the Xbox brand is now just as popular as the PlayStation brand so it is a completely different fight. Going into this gen, Xbox was the complete underdog, and because of all Sony's mistakes and all of Microsoft's triumphs, Xbox went from being outsold 6 to 1 last gen to being tied with the once untouchable PlayStation brand. Anything can happen next gen. Sony will have an advantage at the start with the lower entry price, but who knows what Microsoft has in ...
Minecraft is a beast on 360!
@PSVita - The PS3 version also has a mandatory install of the same size. Both versions only use one disc to play the actual game.
As Rockstar have already stated, there is no lead platform. Both versions are being developed simultaneously. No ports:

I'm envisioning a 2016 XB1/PS4 release!
Those time-based ones are called "Challenges" and they do not award gamerscore. They can be shared across multiple games and be earned by the whole community rather than just by a single person.
I don't know what you're complaining about. The new achievement system sounds great to me. Achievements can now unlock extra game content. Developers will also be able to add them at any time for free and not just through DLC. The new achievement stat tracking looks ...
I'm only going to rank my top 2:
1. Grand Theft Auto IV
2. Red Dead Redemption
Some of my other favorites:
Far Cry 3
Portal 2
L.A. Noire
Gears of War
Gears of War 3
Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City
BioShock
BioShock Infinite
The Last of Us
Super Meat Boy
LIMBO
The Orange Box
The Walking Dead
Forza Motorsport 4
Stop spreading misinformation. There is no lead platform, as Rockstar themselves have stated. Both versions were developed simultaneously, no ports:

I haven't gotten my fill of full frontal male video game nudity since The Lost and Damned. I'm counting on you, Rockstar!
Indeed, I don't remember seeing that content descriptor before.
The multiplayer is called "Grand Theft Auto Online" and it is going to be revealed this month. Rockstar have not said much, but it's supposed to be "very different" from GTA IV. Considering they are calling it "GTA Online" instead of just "GTA V multiplayer" means it must be pretty ambitious.
This must be pretty ambitious if they're calling it GTA Online instead of just GTA V multiplayer.
