No, I'm sure they'll be selling new 360s and PS3s for years to come. They already know we're looking for next gen, so why not entice us with some irresistible current gen offers on the front page?
The more consoles the merrier! I will eat out of garbage cans this winter.
So I take it you only play exclusive games? Practically every week of the year, new games release on the 360, be they retail, arcade, indie... As another person put it above, you will never, ever hear an Xbox 360-only owner complain of a lack of games. No way could someone play every game that releases in one year on the console.
Perhaps the PS3 is your console of choice and you play all your multiplatform games over there. Likewise, the 360 is my preferred platform for all t...
Or you can simply plug the controller into the console with any USB cable, and it instantly becomes a wired controller. If batteries are such a great hassle for you, then use it wired.
@UltimateMaster
Yeah, I guess I'll have to buy a DualShock 4 for my Xbox One.
Who the heck cares about resolution? I just want fun games. I don't care if they are in 480p as long as they entertain me.
And Forza 5!
You're forgetting that Xbox Live is a paid service and PSN is not, so those numbers are pretty high.
Lobsters?
You can just push the button! Who's stopping you?
Or your family member could just walk over and push the power button on the console!
The majority of GTA V's reviews were published before the online went live.
My problem with the DS3 was not so much the placement of the sticks, but just the overall poor design. The surface of the analog sticks is convex. It does not grip your fingers like the 360 controller does with its little nubs on the surface of the sticks.
Then of course you have the very poorly designed triggers. They feel completely imprecise and again are not designed to hold your fingers in place like the 360 controller.
Overall, the whole DS3 controller ...
That's an opinion. The PS4 wins polls because it is the cheaper choice and that's a fact.
That's good that they can have an installation disc so you only need one disc to play. No disc-swapping anymore for the 360!
GTA V really spoiled me on any other open world games with its hyper-detailed, handcrafted world. No way will Watch Dogs even come close to the absurd level of detail and density of Los Santos. Despite being limited by current gen consoles, GTA V is one of the most beautiful games ever because of the superb lighting that makes the world almost look photo-real at some points.
I don't care if there are muddy textures or other problems. When everything comes together in GTA ...
"PS4: 1,189,523
XBONE: 834,242"
Wow! So much for the rumors of the PS4 outselling the XB1 by a ratio of 4 to 1. And so much for all those supposedly accurate internet polls where PS4 gets nearly 90% of the votes. And this is with a $100 price advantage for the PS4 and all the lingering bad press about the XB1. Once Microsoft really kicks in their marketing, I expect them to creep right up on the PS4, maybe even surpass it. Imagine the $500 console outselli...
Sounds like the old PlayStation fan argument that PS3 exclusives sold less individually because there were more exclusives to choose from. Now it's reversed and the Xbox platform has more to choose from.
A 9 is a very good score, but if GTA V does not deserve a 10/10, then no game does. It's as close to a perfect game as I have ever played.
So with Rockstar's typical development cycles, we should hopefully see a Red Dead sequel by... 2017? And then delayed to Spring 2018. Haha, I kid, I kid. But if there's any game I will patiently wait years for, it is a Rockstar game. The quality of their titles is second to none and they're not afraid to take as long as they need to create the perfect game.
