Nah, I'd give your ass a solid 5/5. ;)
The same way Sony can give away over 4,000 consoles in a Taco Bell giveaway? This was planned way ahead of time, I'm sure.
I got this same email for Killer Instinct. I have a tenure of 5 and a Gamerscore of 121,485.
I wish no games had DLC. I never want to feel compelled to go back after finishing them. /sarcasm
As long as a game is packed with content and does not feel bare bones like they purposely left out content to sell later as DLC, then I have no problem with it. And Forza is always packed to the brim with content of exceptional quality.
That trailer gave me chills! I was thinking of waiting a few months to buy the One but they are making it really hard with all these great launch games.
I'm much more concerned about the features the consoles will offer and the exclusive lineups rather than a resolution difference you would only notice when comparing screenshots side-by-side. If it's actually a noticeable difference that hinders my experience then I'll worry about it.
In the meantime, I've been skimming through the comments here trying to see arguments on both sides of the battle. As N4G is mostly populated with PlayStation fans I've been ...
Let's get the PS4 list started, folks:
"It's Not So Bad" (Bronze) - Pay to play online
"It's Only a Timed Exclusive" (Gold) - Spend 100 hours on the internet browser trolling video game forums instead of playing games
"I Was Going to Subscribe Anyway" (Silver) - Subscribe to Music Unlimited for $50 to play background music in your games
"Welcome to 2008" (Bronze) - Use party...
I don't see why they would go back to Vice City again. A modern day Vice City would be pretty boring and they've already exhausted an '80s Vice City with two games. It's time to finally head to a brand new location. Or maybe they will just focus on expanding GTA Online and broadening that one cohesive world with new locales.
I've been a huge Gears of War fan since the launch of the first game, and I have hundreds of hours of memories playing with friends, but I agree that it has run its course for the time being. Gears of War 3 was great, but after Judgment I'm not very excited for a new title in the series. They will need to introduce some big changes to make the series feel fresh again. Maybe in a few years we will see a new Gears title on the Xbox One.
Haha, very cool!
I don't like that you have to be a paid member of Music Unlimited to play background music during games. I thought they would have a simple free solution like the 360 has had since launch. :(
I will sell my PS3 after I finish Beyond. I will probably keep my 360 to continue playing GTA V unless it is announced for next gen consoles.
It's a great game that deserves better sales.
Funny how they have to make the list "after the Genesis era" otherwise the list would only be composed of Genesis games.
Your thumbs should sit symmetrical from one another on the 360 controller. The left one on the analog stick and the right one on the face buttons. This is the neutral position putting no stress on your thumbs.
For decades, our fingers have rested there on our controllers. The D-Pad used to be the primary input. The left analog stick is now the primary input, so Microsoft placed it where the D-Pad used to sit. The PlayStation controller still has the D-Pad in the neutral posit...
Considering I changed the theme on my 360 about once a year, I don't care one bit about changing the background, but I'm sure enough people will complain that they will implement the feature.
As for battery packs, I exclusively use wired controllers for my 360, and I'm excited that you'll be able to plug in the Xbox One controller with any USB cable and it will instantly become a wired controller. It's also pretty obvious the old 360 battery packs would no...
I'm surprised to see the Xbox One so close to the PS4 in preorders considering the $100 higher price tag and all the lingering harsh feelings over the old policies.
Not to mention, the Xbox One is going to appeal to a much broader audience than just gamers - the kind that does not preorder so won't show up on this chart as a potential customer.
Exactly! Again and again people would say that PS3 exclusives didn't sell as well because PS3 owners had more to choose from. Now Xbox One owners will have more to choose from, so that argument no longer matters!
I agree. TLOU has the most natural stealth mechanics in any game I have played. The way you naturally flow from cover to cover without sticking to it is very satisfying. It doesn't feel like trial and error like Splinter Cell. I don't feel like I need any visibility meters or other HUD elements, I can just use my senses and the little audio cues while examining the environment. And if worse comes to worst and I'm spotted, the combat is incredibly satisfying as well. I don't fe...
Looks very cool.
