Well, as a primarily console gamer with a gaming PC, yes.
Most gaming PCs have windows. And the X1 controller is really just plug and play and it's familiar. You have one or two hoops to jump through to use other controllers, but honestly for me, X1 and steam controllers are the best.
That said, I haven't hooked up a DS4 to my PC yet. and that is my favorite controller of all time.
Thankfully for my wallet, I already own everything on there that I'm interested in.
Besides, I can do to throw a few extra bucks toward mediocre monster's kickstarter.

Hope this one gets funded. I've backed a couple kickstarters I thought looked cool and they just die without getting any attention. Like right now Nebula and wounded probably won't reach their goals.
