It'll probably end up being both. Most early adopters of ps4 will wait on PS5 and late adopter will wait on ps5.5. I expect a lot of those who wait for the library to build up before buying a new console might grab a Neo.
An xbox one for someone without an internet connection is just a brick. you have to go online at least once to get the update that disables the online requirement.

Again, you're not comparing apples to apples. You're using the most expensive possible path for playstation while misrepresenting costs again, ps+ is 50 not 60. 60 is xbl. You're still putting two consoles against one PC. Unless you use the latest hardware on your PC, the comparison isn't valid. the same way you don't need a titan to run dark souls 3, is the same way a PS4 owner doesn't need a PS Neo to run uncharted 4.

You're going about making your point all wrong. Take a look at what you said, you add $180 for ps+ and then go out of your way to mention you don't get any games. Ignoring that ps+ nets you plenty of games. You'd need to either withdraw the "no games"...
I see the point you're trying to make but you're using some bad math there. For one, psn cost $50 a year, not $60. Secondly you're comparing two consoles to one PC. The message they're sending out right now is that it's not necessary to go with the "Neo". Same as a PC gamer not having to buy the latest GPU every time a new one comes out.

Keep in mind that Joe's scale is different than other sites. They keep in mind that people view scores like 7 as average and anything below that as bad.

Yeah it's rare that I disagree with Joe. It's usually on Bethesda and 4X games where we're just on different sides of the river. But for the most part I'm able to take him at his word. I'll still grab a game if I'm interested mind you, but Joe holds just enough sway with me to decide whether or not I wait on a sale before buying.

To be fair you took that out of context. saying it's the same game every year is talking about the present. when you quoted "now it's a different game" you left out the previous line of "it used to feel authentic" meaning that it has changed into being the same game every year. So he didn't really contradict himself as you implied.

I didn't but thanks to their "superbacker" strategy, I'll get it and any future games they ever make for my one time pledge of $17. They still have over 30 days to go but they're already well pass $200,000 that's over 2/3 of the way there in about a half a week.
Heh, I've never used facebook, never had an account, any of that. Never really saw the appeal of telling people what I'm doing, or getting in touch with friends from over a decade ago. If you're important to me or I to you, I actually talk to you and kept in touch with you.
