Couldn't agree less. I just finished it and I liked this game quite a bit. I believe ign and games pot both gave this game somewhere in the 7's. That seems about right if you like fantasy RPGs like dragon age and witcher. It's not near their level, but it's good enough to hold you over ..

I'm hoping they ignore the reapers altogether and give us a villain we can actually have a boss battle with. Reapers are too big to take on the way you play mass effect, ie on foot with just a few weapons

I think the slap in the face is the $50 upgrade fee being kept by sony unless you renew ps plus, not getting te plus version for free.

I knew the ps plus version would be a lesser experience, and I was ok with that with the ps4 being so new and drive club being a AAA game. What I didn't expect was such limited quantity ad such a steep upgrade fee. I fully expected a 50/50 approach. Plus membership gets you half the content and the upgrade fee being half of full price ie $30.
My fear was that this would be the new ps4 igc. Indies for free and partial AAA games with money for a full game unlock (suspicion was $...

I don't think it being third party vs first party matters that much. It's kinda akin to outsourcing more or less

As best as I can tell, the problem has never been a lack of trying. The problem has always been the majority of the fans. Speaking generally, Xbox fans want shooters, Nintendo fans want kiddie games and sony fans want variety.
Look at each of their big guns, Xbox you got halo, gears, titanfall, timed exclusivity for cod and bf. Nintendo has Mario, donkey kong, Mario kart, smash bros. And sony has uncharted, little big planet, grand turismo, god of war, infamous.
Not that...

Scoped out dell's website for a bit and saw nothing about this deal.

No forever Rachel = fail in my book.

In all seriousness, there are so many, you could do a list of 50 and still miss some pretty good ones

I've been this way since before there were achievements or trophies. I've always been a completionist when it comes to games. I guess it's because I'm more of an rpg type. Doing the side quests led me to want to do everything, gain every ability, every summon etc.

And now with ps4 where you can compare your trophies with the world, I get an extra boost in gamer pride when I see that I've done what only .5%, .2%, or even .1% of others have done. Of co...

I always thought that the problem with the vita was its target audience. It's essentially the same as the ps3 and 4. And the marketing and games seem to reflect this. The problem I see here is that handhelds appeal to three types, the hardcore, kids and people that just want to kill some time with a quick game. The latter there use smartphones and tablets, so they're pretty much out since a vita or 3ds offers them nothing new in terms of why they look for. And that leaves two opt...

I skipped skyrim because of oblivion. Too often I felt like a random person roaming the countryside doing random side quests. Save the dark brotherhood storyline, I felt no connection to any characters or plots. It just felt like quantity over quality.
Personally, I feel a game like that would benefit from having a party with you. Like in dragon age for example. You help alistair with his sister, not some random villager. You get praise/ a tonge lashing from morrigan depending...

Won't titanfall's numbers be a little skewed? I mean they gave it away for free with every x1 sold. Unless they have a way to track that...

They have to justify the thousands they spent on their pcs somehow.

Thank Captain Planet that I'm not into multiplayer. I'm the type that loves going back and playing some of my older games from time to time. If be mad if a big part of them turned unplayable.

Um, he did. He said "suspected downgrades" and that the concerns "seem to be true". That should be enough to keep them out of hot water.

I can where this view point is coming from, but I don't think that means we have to ditch the entire system. I think it's more about the writing/dialog. I mean if they had taken the approach of "power corrupts" and with every new power Delsin either struggles to maintain him or goes deeper and deeper, then much like mass effect, certain choices get blocked out if you're too far on one end of the spectrum.
Only addition I'd make is a grey area for people who...

Eh, angry joe gave the best review in my opinion.
He, total biscuit and pro Jared are about the only reviewers I think are honest.

Yes but titanfall already released. Infamous is about to. A better comparison would be last week's titanfall standing against this week's infamous.
Not that any of that matters as long as people are enjoying their games.

Not every game needs multiplayer. Some games are better without a teenager questioning your sexuality and insulting your mother
