If you don't have a gaming PC, go for it. no sense locking yourself out of exclusives you don't need to.
But Adam Sessler loved it...
Portal 3 would be cool. But personally I'd like to see some others get resurrected along side it. I have a soft spot for those games I had fun with but didn't quite catch on as well as other big names. Titles like alpha protocol and binary domain.
That's what I was thinking.
I think the real problem is this $60 for every game standard. In my mind there's no reason why witcher 3 and MGS5 should cost as much as Ryse and The Order on release.
Personally, I'm willing to pay more for quality. Hell, I've bought games twice if I felt the developer deserved more money for my enjoyment. conversely, I've waited on sales when I didn't feel the value was there.
Meanwhile I'm working on a game starring Steven Amell that only last 2 minutes.
It's basically you run up to Kim Kardashian with a bow and arrow and say "you have failed gaming" then fire away.
Sorry I don't get what you're trying to say. I didn't say you had a gaming PC that was obvious from your comment. I was just saying that in my view There's no need to be exclusively a console gamer or a PC gamer. You can own them all, or replace one of the consoles with a PC and still be fine. My suggestion would be to give up the X1 in that case as one would be sacrificing the least.
With that thumbnail and me just glancing at the headlines, I could have sworn it read "Here's the system requirements needed for Speed".
I thought we were finally getting a Keanu Reeves simulator!
pretty sure that was a joke
From that list:
Heavy rain and alienation for me.
I'll wait on the division. Being a primarily single player gamer that title gives me pause.
Doesn't Kinect for windows do that?
I'll never buy one so I never thought to look that up, but it seems like a basic feature for a PC with Kinect.
Seconded. I said this in the "x1 owners should also get a PS4" version of this article. PS4 and X1 are just too similar for me to in good conscience suggest someone pick both of those up and skip Wii U.
My advice has always been to someone looking to buy two consoles: choose between PS4 and X1 first then grab a Wii U.
Not sure what voodoochild was getting at, but as someone that owns all that you do plus a PC, I'd say you can get a low to mid level PC like that alienware alpha, it'll cost just a few bucks more depending on what tier you get, but since it's meant to be hooked up to a TV, and most TVs run at 1080p, you can probably have your same set up just replacing the X1 for a PC.
There would be some give and take of course, you get slightly better performance, access to mods, and mor...
I feel for you man. seems like almost everybody thought you were dead serious.
shut up Meg.
welp, time to go drive my truck off a cliff. This world has failed me.
I feel like there should be a line drawn with stuff like this. something like this, hearts of stone, dragon age awakening and so on, I think these should be referred to as expansion packs, not DLC. When I think DLC I think an extra mission or maps or something to that effect. Similarly when think micro transactions I think skins and weapons and such.
I know they're all technically DLC, but something like the following... feels weird referring to it in the same terms as the tax...
If you're a PC gamer, you're probably happy MS is keeping their promise to look out for PC gamers by not forcing them to buy an X1 to play games that they can easily port. Sure you lose a hardware sale, but you also rake in software sales, and there's money to be made there.
It's already the fastest selling xbox console and they know they won't beat Sony. so they're focused on making money. Something tells me the only part of the "console war" MS c...
*ahem* as I pretend to be an xbox fanboy's id.:
let me inform you of how big an issue this really is! See now I have ponies just throwing in my face that xbox barely has any exclusives! And I have to just sit there and take it! How can I say that xbox is where it's at and cool kids play if you can play those games on a different machine! People like you just don't realize how much this devalues the game/console and now no one will buy the console! how am I supposed t...
yup and of all the reviewers out there his preferences, likes, dislikes and such are the closest to being aligned with my own. so his opinion carries some extra weight with me when I'm checking out a game
