Of course he (they) do not read the articles mate, that requires - well - you know - reading, and many can't be bothered reading past the first two words or even lines if they feel energetic enough.
Shame, they'd probably learn something if they did.
I've always stated that come 2010 there would be another SKU for the xbox to run alongside the current 360, which will have it's own life span of 10 yrs, still 6 remaining come Nov 2009.
Vahalla the new Combined CPU/GPU will most likely ship in this so-called new SKU which no doubt may well combine the stand-along camera unit which will go on sale later this year for all 360's so they can use Natal. It was/is scheduled for completion come the end of 2009 and aimed at a new chassi...
The number of games 'coming' from PC platform increases every month mate, not decreases. Many have shown up on our listing over the years, and a good number of those have made it into reality as developers realize the huge untapped market that is available on consoles, if they can capture it.
Doesn't make either platform better or worse, or one game better than the other, it simply means we as gamers get more games, better and bigger choices, and the industry grows.
not really, as RARE does have something up its sleeve mate, and we may find out sooner than expected . .. They wouldn't be working on something like that then simply turn it away mate. There's movement about, but we just don't know what it is exactly.
They certainly did, where was APB, and Huxley??? I think I heard some rumblings about them somewhere, but unsure. Those two would certainly be interesting games on the 360, or any console for that matter.
I think you might find that it's still very similar to years ago, it's just that it is more public now than before.
We hear about so many games that are under development early, and then for whatever reasons, the game is shelved, sold, takes longer than planed, costs more than planned etc which then cops flack in the media now.
There is a huge move by majors to also get into the "casual" market now, and indie game dev are now finding their niche being invai...
While they are MIA, there's still work being done on them, it's just that the dev are a bit quite on them, while some have simply been moved aside for faster moving items that bring in the $$'s so the other newer IP's can be worked on.
We're just going through our huge Xbox 360 games listing atm, removing released and canceled games, and adding a swag of new ones that are poppping up around the globe.
Well I'd certainly like to play for Ms Dark, that's for sure.
I thought we would have heard about some of the ones still MIA though, plus there were a few quite horses that slipped through no one was even expecting . ..
That's what I do not understand . . .games are repetative by their very nature. They are designed so you have a task, do that task, gain a reward, move to next section, rinse - repeat . .
That's true of just about every game ever made, so saying a game is repeatitve is sort of odd really. Sure, there has to be things repeated, as it simply can''t be entirely different from one end to the other. That is impossible.
SO you will find games like that, the trick is to tak...
Great points mate,
Wait until you see or better still, experience Red Dead: Redemption . .
It's 4 times as big in both visuals, area, amount going on, and NPC roles etc. It's by far the BIGGEST thing Rockstar have ever undertaken. Their words, not mine. We've seen it recently, and I got to say, I'm very impressed, and usually sandbox games do not impress me, this left me wanting it, and it was only alpha stage . . bloody brilliant.
I doubt that there will be dyno in the pits mate, perhaps some simulation in the tuneup garages etc ??? but I wouldn't hold my breath for it.
And I'm sure there are backfires in the current one now, as I've heard the popping when backing off at times, but ONLY when I'm in the closet view to the screen . . .
As far as movable spoilers, not many cars have them when racing, too subject to flex and breakage, Usually fixed but adjustable through hydralics or physical adju...
Agreed mate, I don't read the articles I'm NOT interested in on any sites, so why do ppl continue to read articles that they know will only annoy them . .has me beat . . sorry, it does. It's a bit like hitting yourself on the head with a bloody big rubber hammer.
You know it's going to hurt like hell, but you do it anyway . .
Scratches head.
We have an article on the fantec, plus we're looking at making the OXCGN Forza Pro Coc-kpit with several makers as a "wouldn't it be nice" sort of thing for real race lovers.
Will keep you all posted on that as well.

Ahhh you're just a wooss mate, come play with the big boys in racing, try the enduros in Forza 2 mate . .I think 1hr and 10 mins is the longest, and you must pit stop, get fuel, change tyres and plan those as well. hehehe different strikes for different folks as they say.
You can set it up to run a full 24 hours in fact, with the hardest of AI in the free race section mate. You can set it from 1 hour right up to the full 24hrs in 'real time'
Ideally Team OXCGN Racing may have a proper event com ethe end of the year that WILL involve Le Mans, Turn 10 and Microsoft, and several other companies if they get involved . .
A pipe dream yes, but one must have dreams in order to strive for them . . .
TRue, much like the selective quoting with EA's recent "claims" the 360 has been tapped out for EA games" . . When if you look at the "actual" comments, the quote/s are taken out of context.
OXCGN has a rare and exclusive one-on-one with Valve heads next week, done while in LA, not some quick, "oh, so the game looks a bit you know - samie . . what have you got to say about that?" sort of thing, but a decent "Long" detailed interview. ...
Agreed 110% , ,The Orange box gave not 1 - 2 or even 3 games, but bloody % AND on one disc at that, not cut down versions, but full playable versions with online features.
Are those fans looking at that, or simply wanting their 24 hours of game play before they head back to the likes of EB/GAME etc to trade it back in and get the Next Big Thing.
The game market has changed radically now, so game dev have to get games out, or suffer the consiquences of not having gam...
I think a level of gamers are basically never pleased, no matter what they are given or how great the title may well be.
I know already that there will be those berating BioShock 2, Mass Effects 2, Lost Planet 2, and especially any new IP a developer dares try and introduce to the market.
Because if it's not perfect, which NO GAME ever is, then they will be screaming from the hilltops saying the developer doesn't know what they are doing, that they should have done t...
I think many just do not understand the development cycle withing a sytudio doing multipl iterations of a franchise.
By about 6-3mth out from release, usually closer to 6, a segment of the team breaks off, and the whole tema has to stop basically "adding" features, improvemnets storyline etc, so that the game can make the next step into production. Otherwise the game would never have time to be finiahed, as you'd constantly be creating new ideas, finding about new tech...
Me neither, I'll hang onto my nice Assassin's Creed SKU thanks, and the normal 360, even though they are k=just 20giger - for the time being.
I'll whack a 120 on each an dthat'll do me fine, and when the new natal camera ad-on comes around this year (prob Nov) then I'll grab that for the pure fun-factor.
But the second SKU will have to wait until the second revision for me. Luckily I've only had one Release model 360 die on me (touch wood) so all things are fine righ...
