We have several "one-on-ones with some of the dev/pub's tomorrow, and Sony have asked us in to a meeting for an announcement or two, so hopefully it will be in those mate.

We'll have out=r Cover-It-Live broadcasting again, and throughout the next 3 days or so with some interviews, podcasts and video footage - where and when we're allowed to film of course.

SOny will have some excellent titles, but if they focus more on the PSP-go and such, they could lose the w...

Oh, and we nabbed some info on a new Forza 3 steering wheel and pedals that we'll be having some hands on with, which of course we'll be sharing with lvl2gamer. Forza, Crackdown 2 and Alan Wake are my top favourites this time around with Convictions coming really close behind them.

Excellent show, and we'll have plenty of footage andinterviews coming as well. Will be sharing it with our affiliate site, and lvl2gamer is one of them, so make sure yuo keep in contact with this site, OXCGN will be feeding them some "Exclusive" stuff from a few dev/publishers over next day or two.

I think Natal is gowing to change the way games are made. Prob not straight away, but seeing how the big-guns are now interested in it, you can see the huge possibilities it ...

Yes, they will, there's two MGS's in the works, and it's great to see that both sides of the fence get a crack at the game, one with Snake, one with Raiden - we get Raiden

Ahh my life is complete, I can die now . .The pedals look AMAZING and my new coined phrase - "Bloody Brilliant" . .

I have been saying for some time that MS was dumping it's own wheel and had a solid 3rd party making them one (about time to, it was not the best wheel in the word, that's for sure). But would anyone listen - OH NO.

Well OXCGN will have some hands-on time with this and Forza 3 to shout about real soon, so stay tuned.

Well it was brilliant watching the news on E3, and There's LOTS of news to be had as well, so jump in and check it out, you will not be disappointed.

And yes, MGS is officially coming to the 360 with a NEW Metal Gear Solid game called MGS: Rising (it's MP, so we can all share the love of MGS)

I would LOVE Heavy Rain on the 360, I'll even get it for the PS3 should god give me one, as it's without a doubt one of the best games I've seen in a long time, sorry MS, but it is.

Been looking forward to this game, but after seeing a newer screenshot today, I'm wondering is it actually going to make the cut for todays style of shooter.

Compared to earlier screens, the current one looks bland, and lifeless, even for a space sci-fi shooter.

Mixed emotions about it now, but looking forward to Codemasters announcements later on in the night / Day.

I thought the movie was great . . it was excentric, which is what comics are about, nothing based in reality, quirky and odd, which again is what comics are about. Remember, I grew up when "real comics" were the norm, and this is what you'd expect on a motion picture of a comic, not a reality world based movie.

Way too many 'newer' gamers are just far too fussy and discriminate and expect perfection and nothing but.

Learn to lighten up, enjoy it for what it...

Loved the first one actually, will look forward to the follow up this Winter (US) . ...Don't know what everyone was on about it being poor, I found the mechanics great actually.

It's less a sequel and more a remake and move to a different genre. Which is the my main concern. Most will see it as a simple western shooter, not the gta:iv style game that it is. It's 3 times as big as GTA:IV in both landscape and gameplay.

mate, I was definitely hovering to the wrong side of the fence, but now, even in this early build, I's a dead-set certainty for me, and should be for any sandbox gamer. The mechanics are excellent

I was a bit iffy when I first heard about this, but after seeing it, and the possibilities it has, I can see many many hours being glued to the saddle on this game.

Hopefully gamers will see it as the sandbox style game it is meant to be, not "just some western shooter" . .

Ahhh did you actually read the article, we did take the micky out of MS, and yes, you're right, it does sound like MS PR . .That's because the second half IS a MS Press Release . . shhezzes .. .Do read and not make stuff up in your head mate.

We'll never diss the Ps3 or the games it has, but sony fans do not do the platform any fovours these days, that's a given

6227d ago 7 agree3 disagreeView comment

Actually, OXCGN has never, will never write an article that disses the PS3. It will question "Sony's" motives as well as Microsoft's, as we aren't owned or run by them. Thus free to say what we can and will. We have often rubbished MS, and SOny and even Niffty Nintedno. BUt you won't find a single article that disses the PS3 on our site. Basically because 1) We're gamers not fanboys and 2) it's a brilliant platform, and 80% of our staff have one.

The difference being, ...

no, but we'll be reviewing it and play any PS3 title worth playing, we have a great relationship with SCEE here in Australia, and attend their events. We're the ONLY xbox centric site that does. We're gamers, not fanboys.

Do some research mate. The 1st-Gen Xbox was NEVER meant to have a long life. It was designed to do 2 things, which it did. It was designed to be pulled 12 months after the 360 was released, which it was.

It was meant to simply get developers and publishers onside, and make way for the 360.

Did you know that the 360, which was a code name for it well before anyone mentioned it publiclly, was under the conception as early as 2001-2.

There's two excellent b...

Mate, you have NO IDEA what is planned for E3, all I can say is, you'll be sitting back and going wtf, where did that come from.

Both platforms will have stellar titles at this years E3, and both will have some excellent NEW IP's and also some NEW Exclusives.

We could break the various Publishers trust and blab, like some sites might chose to, but we want to be know as a site with a high level of personal integrity. If some other site gets the news out first by break...

My personal thoughts still remain firm.

The new Combined motherboard, a CPU/GPU 65 nano or smaller board called the Valhalla is due at the end of 2009, or early 2010. It is proported to be for the next iteration of hardware to carry the xbox platform forward.

Some say that's rubbish, as the 360 hasn't done 10 years yet. Of course it hasn't, and it won't be alone while it does its 10 year. The new X720 will sell along side it as a premium console, just the same as the...

Many gamers these days don't look past shooters or action games for some reason. If it's not a Gears Of Bloody War, Halo-bloody-booring-tastica, Starwars etc, they just think every other game is a shooter or adventure anyway.

Many of these games are excellent new IP's and warrant inclusion in every gamers library, or at least a 'decent' run through their machine (decent = 3-5 hours of gameplay) so they get to see and experience something outside their normal shooter experiences. ...
