It is funny because up until christmas i was playing mad halo 3 online and live problems would have bugged me but then mass effect showed up :-D That game has swollowed my soul, it is fantastic. I have been logging into live properly though since the live problems stated showing up in the news so maybe i am just one of the lucky users :-)

How come people are disagreeing with guys that are saying achievements are stored on the hard drive. That is true, maybe this 360 owner was just having a blond moment :-P

That article is very wishy washy, it is speculation right or did i read it wrong? It would be nice if they switched and finished the format war because i think HD DVD is done for. One format now would stop more people buying into a format that could be obsolete soon.
I have to ask again because no one answered before, but why does it matter which console is leading in sales? All the consoles have good games that appeal to different people and at this point they are all here to stay because they all have a decent install base. I think i have to agree with lots of other people in here on this one, why would there being no xbox 360 ultimate make 360 owners mad? I bought the 360 because i wanted to play games and if i did want an HD DVD player included in the 360 it would really chap my ass right now if they released one because i already have a 360 and i am not about to go out and buy another one.
The 360 Ultimate was just a rumor right, no one actually ever confirmed that a protoype was in existence? I agree with the author though, if warner had gone the other way it could have been HD DVD on top. Warner is definitely the decision maker, it must be nice to have that kind of power :-P
You should recommend that they take it back and wait to see what happens. You don't have to tell them that HD DVD is almost certainly done, just that they should wait a bit. That way it doesn't make them feel like they made a mistake. If you don't mind making them feel like they bought the wrong product fire away :-P
Agreed and bubble for you. Each system has games that appeal to different people which is a good thing. It is good to see that people that use the blu-ray player for movies in their PS3 aren't going to be at a loss because the PS3 was released during the grace period of profile 1.0
Yeah, it is business it isn't like they hate eachother. Working together on ventures normally means good business. With blu-ray on top they might as well join and make some coin in the form of players.
They do make some nice products, i put them just behind sony, samsung, and sharp for tvs. Granted sony and samsung make their panels at the same factory :-P

Bioshock was awesome, i hope they do a good job on number 2. I agree with you guys, a prequel sounds cool. Lots of story that can be explored there.
I don't have a PS3 so i can't comment on noise or up-scaling but people have said the 360 is noisy and i don't find it annoying. My buddy just got a PS3 and i didn't notice any annoying fan noise when he was showing it off. I think some people just latch onto any little thing when it comes to trying to put a console down that they don't like.
I am not pointing fingers at anyone on this site but some people seem to have a little bit of a problem portraying thier opinion and other people taking it the wrong way. I only take bubbles away when a comment is obviously stupid. Some of the stuff i read on here that could be taken a few different ways i leave alone. I don't want someone loosing bubbles over a misunderstanding :-), i hope everyone else thinks that too.
