I think there are more big games on the Vita than people give it credit for. They just usually get dismissed because they're also available on other platforms. For me, I don't care if a game was available on Steam a year ago or on the PS3 because I don't buy games on the PC and my PS3 can't fit in my pocket.

And people always point to the 3DS as a portable with a lot of exclusive games. But the big titles for it are an inferior version of Smash, a lesser vers...

I love Knack and it was the first PS4 game I ever played. I couldn't stop playing it.
I think the reason it got a lot of hate is because the game can get very repetitive at times. If you play for a couple hours and then take a break, you're good. But when the game was reviewed, it was played as a marathon because there were so many games coming so fast. They rushed the experience, which can make it seem not as good.
But say what you will, it was the only next-gen game ...

My thoughts exactly. It's not that people hate it, they just don't care about it. Seems to me, that's almost worse.

And that's generally speaking of course. I know a ton of people care about it and love it, but most people just don't want it apparently.

I love handhelds, (and I love the Vita) but it's hard to deny the fact that the market is shrinking significantly. Between iPads, iPods, and cheap android alternatives, the need for a 3DS or Vita is severely diminished. The games aren't as big, but they're relatively cheap.
I appreciate the deeper gaming experience you get on a handheld as opposed to a smartphone or tablet, but I'm realizing I'm in the minority on this one.

If you like colorful, cartoony games that appeal to gamers of all ages, then the Wii U has a lot to offer.

If you like everything else, then you're out of luck.

My biggest gripe with the Wii, and now the Wii U is that they can't play DVDs. It means I have to have something else hooked up to the TV as well. With the PS3, it does everything.

I thought that maybe the case as well, but it's not. Minis don't have trophy support. I then downloaded the "new" collection and it's literally just the exact same thing but for more money.

I see a lot of people complain that there's nothing new, or "next-gen" about this game and that apparently is a bad thing.
I say if it ain't broke, don't fix it. All I want is the same Uncharted I already love but on a bigger scale. So far it looks like that is what we're getting and I'm cool with that.

Modnation Racers for the PS4? A free to play game where you purchase the different mods piecemeal instead of unlocking them in the game. Maybe like bringing the Little Big Planet DLC stuff over to Modnation. I would be totally fine with that.

I really like the idea behind the game, but I could just never get into it. Maybe I didn't give it much of a chance, but I never got very far. Too many other things attracted my attention more. I have a feeling that DX will be the same way.

Capcom should probably worry about releasing the PS4 game they've already announced before getting PR working on another one. Deep Down looked really cool but has been MIA for a really long time now.

Strangely a lot of people are excited about this. I don't get it. For $200 you can get the Vita, a memory card, and a game. Or for the same price you can just get the Vita. Take the bundle even if you don't want the game. It's just the better value.

Yes, they gave up on updating that list almost the moment they put it up. It has been "updated" three times with just a few games removed each time, and one update that added all the psmobile/minis support.

The last update was on October 23, a week AFTER Minecraft became available, which was the game they were pushing for the device at E3. It was never added to the list. Race the Sun, Nidhogg, and a ton more were released shortly thereafter and again, those were nev...

That's because the Wii is a shadow of its former self. Even Nintendo will admit to this.

I wouldn't get too excited about this. That line in the posting about the Vita has been there since they were working on Uncharted GA. If you google stories about it, you'll find that people first started speculating about this over a year ago.

I agree with the premise, but I disagree with how it's presented.

I do think that the PS4's first year hasn't been all that great and I look at the library of amazing games for my PS3 and end up playing that more.

That said, exclusives aren't the only games available for the system. Yes, some games have been cross-gen, but they look much better on the PS4. The next gen systems improve on almost everything in the visual department. So why would...

Sony actually has a smart strategy this holiday season. They have the GTA V/The Last of Us bundle, but they are also offering the Lego Batman/Little Big Planet 3 bundle. They are offering this "family friendly" bundle that you can pick up that has something for the kids to play.

Meanwhile, Microsoft has nothing, or at least no bundle, that you would consider "family friendly." They have Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, and Sunset Overdrive bundles, but ...

Wait. So they're actually going to advertise the PlayStation TV? Now THAT is the real news here. But you'll forgive me if I say that I'll believe it when I see it.

I think this actually demonstrates the differences in philosophy between Sony and Microsoft when it comes to entertainment. Microsoft decided to integrate traditional ways of viewing television into the XB1 by having it able to connect to a cable box. Sony meanwhile is establishing a new online service that would cut out the cable companies. Hopefully it works out.

Pricing will be the big question here. But since it's a month to month service with no contract, I think it&...

It's probably because the service integrates with local network affiliates as well as national networks. So they have to set it up so that people in New York receive the NY Fox or NBC channels.

No. It's not a ripoff. And the more PlayStation consoles you own, the better deal it is. If you own a PS4 and Vita, you're getting tons of games and services for only $50 a year. I started paying for Plus when it was PS3 only, and it was a good deal then. The Vita was then added for no extra cost and I was suddenly getting games and services for two consoles. Then the PS4 was added, again at no extra cost. Now I'm getting free games and services for four consoles (the PSTV is also...
