Dragon's Crown is another game that gets some really good, feature adding, updates.
I love how Guerrilla supports this game by constantly adding new features. I wish all game developers took the time to add value to the games they make.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
$15. But the argument here is that 2 hour games shouldn't get high ratings. That premise is not correct.
The thing about some of those past products that were mentioned, Move and 3D gaming, is that they were just stepping stones to get to this VR tech. I don't think they were ever full supported because they were never the end goal.
Project Morpheus builds upon the tech from Move and incorporates 3D gaming to create a completely new experience that hasn't really been done in home consoles before.
So no, those prior attempts aren't indicative on whether VR will succe...
Journey. Journey was a 10/10 game that won Game of the Year awards from countless outlets and it was under 2 hours. And it was a perfect two hours.
I don't think a game's length determines the score. Some games are 40 hours long and are horrible. Some are under two hours and are wonderful.
This means that Walmart was not able to sell the Titanfall bundle in significant numbers at $500. Either Microsoft is having a really hard time selling the XB1, or they're trying to make sales skyrocket.
Either way, a deal this good this soon after launch isn't good for those first adopters.
Unfortunately I'm not. I spend too much time reading articles about video games to actually be addicted to them. And then I comment on those articles.
I should be playing right now, but I'm browsing N4G. Not much of an addiction really.
Funny thing is that I never realized it until one day years ago I'm playing Battlefront with a buddy of mine and I couldn't help but notice that I liked one of the games more than the other.
My friend pointed out that it's because one was a 3rd person shooter, the other a FPS. Ever since then, sure enough, the 3rd person games are better.
Uncharted, Assassin's Creed, inFAMOUS... they're all more appealing to me than Call of Duty, Bioshock, or Battlefied.
No, I don't care for First Person Shooters. I'm all about the 3rd person action games and can't wait for The Order.
So I can't admit that I want Titanfall. I have zero interest.
There are definitely some glaring omissions when it comes to the Vita game lineup. I think that the sports genre is the most obvious. You have the same FIFA game come out year after year, and you have MLB The Show.
What makes me scratch my head is the lack of first person shooters. The whole point behind the Vita was that it had twin sticks and would be great for FPS games. The entire time prior to launch, it's the one thing that was repeated over and over. Now it&...
It's an optional accessory and Sony did a good job for making a case on why you'd want it. Whether it's for streaming or Playroom or features in a different game. They didn't force it on us.
I bought mine for Playroom. It was the same price as a game, and Playroom is something my whole family enjoys. My daughter loves to draw objects on a tablet and then toss them to the little bots and watch them play with it.
Why is there so much attention on this Project Morpheus? I mean, have you seen Titanfall? It's the future of gaming.
:)

I've been playing a lot of it on the Vita, and it's a really fun game. That said, I'm not rushing out to buy it for the PS4 anytime soon, so having it come to PS+ would be awesome.
There are so many indie games that have shot to the top of my list. Hyper Light Drifter is currently my #1, but there are so many others climbing to the top.
This is really a great time to be in video games.
NASA had a made a comment that they were interested in this kind of technology for training purposes. I think that if Sony can do this right and make this technology easily accessible, there is huge potential for this outside the world of gaming.
Imagine this being used for engaging educational experiences as well as training. Take a safari trip without ever leaving your home. Or visit the planet Mars... wait. This is Total Recall, isn't it?
And the gaming ex...
Wait! Where did this come from? They just announced the game and it's available so soon? That stealthy little bastard...
Somehow I get the feeling that if you were to play a VR game as Kratos, it could lead you to developing some mental problems. Controlling him from a third person perspective is one thing, but actually looking down and seeing the blood on your hands? That can't be right.
And is anyone else worried that Shuhei finds it empowering when he sees his hands covered in blood :)
2014 already?? I need a new calendar. Just kidding. :)
Actually, we're going back through the catalog of all the Vita games and trying to review as many as possible that we might have missed. Reality Fighters was never a high priority and was put on the back burner for a long, long time.
It looked like it had such promise. However, I'm well too aware that some games just get really, really repetitive and boring *cough* Reality Fighters *cough*
