Next Gen starts on October 14 in North America and November 14 in Europe. I'll give you a call then.
So it's news that says news is coming?
Just noticed that almost half of my Vita collection is on that list. Very nice.
Anyone else notice there are PSP games there that are currently unavailable on the Vita? Specifically Fat Princess and Modnation Racers are two games I have that will not load on the Vita.
Also the PS1 game International Track and Field is compatible, but currently doesn't work on the Vita. I wonder how many others out there are like that.
"Why buy a console?" This guy really doesn't understand this audience at all, does he? He just doesn't get it.
Why go to a nice restaurant when McDonald's can get you all the food you need?
:) Biased? Me?? No... never.
The Vita and the 3DS provide different experiences when it comes to portable gaming. I just really prefer the experience offered on the Vita. I respect that a lot of people prefer the 3DS (however, I just don't understand why). And I even own a 3DS, I just can't find anything worthwhile to play on it other than Mario Kart occasionally.
But yes, there are plenty of great games everywhere. That is something we can all agre...
But the games still aren't any good. So really it's just more of the same.
The reviews on this game are kind of meaningless, just as they were for Titanfall or any MMO for that matter.
This games lives and dies by the community playing it. You can't experience that and review it in a few days. You might not ever to be able to review it.
And it's funny that it's the lowest reviewed game they've made just as more and more people seem to be shying away from reviews and turning to Let's Plays instead.
This game looks brutal. I don't know if this is my style of game, but I like that it's coming to the Vita.
Perfect. This is the perfect game for the Vita. Every time I'd sit down to play it on my PS3, it just didn't feel right. I wanted to play big games on the big screen. But Joe Danger on the Vita is exactly where it should be. The style of gameplay is perfectly suited to portable gaming.
Fantastic.
If Microsoft buys Minecraft, the version for the Vita will still be coming out. Sony is publishing it, and most assuredly has contracts in place to make sure that it will be coming out. Even if Microsoft bought the company today, Minecraft on the Vita will still becoming.
The problem isn't whether MS buying Minecraft is good for the industry, but how does it make sense for Microsoft? Yes, the game is popular and profitable, but is it $2 billion profitable? Minecraft is a...
Finally. I was beginning to get worried. Now I can catch up on my Vita news while I mow the lawn. Thanks guys.
It's fun game on PS Mobile, i can't wait to see what they change when they bring it to PS4/Vita
If only it came with a larger memory card. Will the game even fit on a 4gb? Well, yes, it will but not much else can. Maybe a few smaller indies? A PS Mobile game or two.
It's just strange because in every other bundle they have, the 8gb card is standard. Maybe the price of getting FIFA Legacy was just too great.
This is what you would call making a mountain out of a mole hill. Besides, in a game that relies on having other players to interact with, why would you want to race to be the first person there? Seems like you'd be better served holding off a week or two to get the best experience.
One thing that stands out to me in that picture is just how pointy everyones' ears were. Long, pointy ears and 3D platformers must be tied together. And not just here. Crash Bandicoot and Spyro both had long pointy ears.
The memory card price argument on the Vita is BS. It's a freakin' red herring that everyone gets so wound up about when it's not even a real problem.
Yes, the price of the cards are more expensive than typical SD cards. But it's a one time purchase. Pony up $30 for a 16gb card and you have access to tons of cheap (and with PS+ free) games. Or there are the games you're getting for free with cross-buy games. You'll save so much money by getting great ga...
That quote in particular pissed me off. So all the sales you have that are not in the holiday season don't count?? What kind of messed up thinking is that?
Somebody should tell Sony that it doesn't matter if they sold 10 million PS4s already because most of those were not sold during the holiday season and so it doesn't really count.
So it's Titanfall but without titans to fall..?
I thought this was an excellent, well spoken piece. I applaud the author for speaking her opinion on this and actually engaging in a discussion about this topic. Seems like there are too many times when there's controversy, both sides say we need to have a "discussion" but what they really mean is "I'm right, you're wrong, and you're an ass for not knowing it."
The problem with a lot of games, such as Uncharted Golden Abyss, Tearaway, LBP, Gravity Rush and others was that they all decided to make use of the "unique features the Vita has to offer." These moments or functions in the game can't be replicated with just a controller. For example, in Uncharted there are times when you need to rub the screen, or hold the camera up to a light source to reveal a secret message. Without the screen or a camera, you can't do that.
