Microsoft doesn't even want to make phones... why would they make a handheld console?

That said, yes they should.

I don't think it's a matter of whether the game is good or not but was it a good value? Take Angry Birds. For $1 or free, it's a really fun game and totally worth playing. For $35 on the console? probably not.

The Order is a really good game that provides a very focused experience. It tells a really good story set in a very interesting world. However, it's not the open world, hours of play that others have become accustomed to and they dislike it for that. Bu...

Like many others here, I don't watch his videos, but apparently a lot of people do. And good on him. He's created something that brings entertainment to so many. Whether it's an actor who plays pretend for a few hours and gets millions of dollars, or YouTube personality who does hours and hours worth of entertaining, the market has decided that he's worth it.

Now if they can just get started on that Mutant Blob Attacks sequel, we'll be mustard.

I'm confused by that one as well. They keep saying "HD" and I look at the version on my PS3 and think it looks pretty high definition already.

Except a typical revenge story would be "You killed my family, now I'm going to kill you." This is the story of a man whose hubris was so great that made a pact with the devil (or Ares) in order to get out of a sticky situation. But in order for him to be a truly great soldier, he was tricked into committing a horrible crime and slaughtering his wife and child. He goes after the gods not because of what they did, but because they won't let him forget the sins he has committe...

Why does nobody in the games' press understand anything about what God of War is about? It has an incredibly deep story and it always gets glossed over in these videos.

In hindsight, the inclusion of the AR stuff was unnecessary. The Vita was trying to do too much right out of the gate that it didn't have the singular focus that the PS4 launched with. It also didn't help that the system shunned children when it launched with few (if any) games that kids would enjoy.

I'm also convinced that their early marketing campaign was horrible. It was solely focused on being able to take your console game on the go, which to me is not the m...

This is the game I've been waiting for. Years ago I lost so much time playing Starflight and this seems like a similar game but on a much grander scale. I can not wait to play this one.

At this price point it's worth it for PS4 owners just to have way to access all the PS1 and PSP games, let alone all the Vita titles.

I can confirm that it does not. It does stream Hulu, Crackle, and all local mp4 files.

It slightly matters for me because I get charged sales tax if I buy directly from Amazon. So getting it through an affiliate would actually be cheaper for me.

Stealth releases. Each one will be announced a mere few days before they launch.

This of course is the list of games we know are coming. Sony likes to do that whole "stealth launch" thing with a lot of their games. The store update comes out and suddenly three games we didn't know about are ready to download. It's crazy.

I really enjoyed Sparkle 1 and 2. I'm also enjoying Unleased quite a bit. The change in the orb slinger makes it easier when playing on the PSTV, but if I'm using a touchscreen, I prefer the old method.

I don't see the point of a physical release on the PS4, but I can see it being cool to have a Vita version of it on a card. At 2.6gb, it's a hefty game.

But it's totally different. I was a PS3 owner last gen, and so to play any of the backward compatible games, I'd have to buy them all first. For 360 owners who bought a PS4, they can instantly have access to 100+ games for $15-20. Whether it's a good value all depends on your situation.

I think the sad truth of it is that by the time the backward compatibility has a decent list of games it can play, nobody is going to really care anymore. BC is something that i...

Exactly. Sony had a conference where they list a ton of great games coming out. Many are games we never thought we'd see. It was very focused.

I was excited about what I saw at the Microsoft conference until I read the fine print. Backward compatibility? Awesome? Oh wait. Except it's not really. And I can't just put in any game I own and play it. On my Wii, I can put in any GameCube disc and it just works. That's not what is happening here.

Ho...

This biggest flaw in this article is that it completely ignores the real world in favor of relishing in selfish fantasies. A lot of people love their Vitas (I'm obsessed with mine) and we think "if only Sony had done XYZ" the Vita would be a success. But the fact is that from the time the PSP/DS were around to now, the market changed.

Sony envisioned the Vita to be a portable gaming console on the go for mature, hardcore gamers. It was for people who wanted the...

A lot of it had to do with the 100 friend limit bug that effects a lot of games. Do you have more than 100 friends?
