The issue I have is with people sitting on their high horse consistently bashing the WIi on this site. It's one thing to be a fanboy, but it's another thing when you spew hatred for a piece of machinery which makes you look irrational and immature. Bruce, I agree and disagree with you. The PS1 and PS2 weren't consoles for niche markets. They were mass market consoles. That is why the PS2 is the best selling console yet and still selling well. Sony did not screw up the video game market in general but screwed up their dominance in the video game market.

Typically, video games on Wii don't have big debuts buy have long legs in terms of sales. Wait another year and come back with the Boom Blox sales figures.

It's really hard for fanboys to be objective on things like this so i know i'll get some disagrees, but there will most likely be a backlash against Microsoft for having a Wiimote clone. Some consumers are going to laugh (I know I did when i read the rumor) that Microsoft is blatantly copying Nintendo which wouldnt reflect bladly on Microsoft.
It seems Microsoft has no original ideas. Remember the Zune? Which really was an Ipod knockoff.
