Pretty much. People do love the idea of a console war, but as far as Microsoft is concerned the focus should be in creating a good device that taps into their strengths and is attractive enough to cultivate a health user base for their new ecosystem.
I don't know if I would say that The Outer Worlds did right as a Fallout: NV spiritual successor. Because it's a much more diluted experience in comparison. It lacks variety in pretty much every single aspect.The dialogue interactions all do exactly the same and some are straight up busted like the dialogue options to when you are caught stealing something. Exploration is not encouraged, as the game gives you tons and tons of resources and most weapons and amor feel and look the same...
I feel they have to revamp the model. There is too many "old" games currently in their service and the asking price for those is just insane.
If they went with a Netflix/PS Now route. I can see it having some place in the market. Especially if they paired that with new exclusive games.
Typing: I think is fair to say that could be improved. I assume that it still the way it is because the XOne was originally meant to work with voice commands by means of the Kinect and so they just didn't put typing as a priority.
XCloud Ergonomics: I don't really get the point here. If the argument is that the games should have better touch controls and offer UI "fixes" like text size, that is not on Xbox but rather on the developers. And if the point i...
I'm not going to lie. I was the same, though in my case I tried the series when Zero was part of Humble Monthly. And boy was I wrong to not give that series a chance before. It's definitely something unique among the current gaming landscape.
I didn't even know that King's Bounty 2 was being made. That is a series that I was pretty sure was dead. This changes in the gameplay are very welcomed as well, the originals were solid but they lack variety.
Digimon Survive is a must buy.The Digimon franchise has been pumping out solid titles in those past years and really interested in seeing what they can do with a SRPG.
And Tell Me Why is not a game that I'm interested in playing. But I...
It's not a particularly hard thing to implement. The main issue would be with the drivers, but AMD is a major partner on the project so they might supply those.
There is no monthly fee nor subscription. Only the $35 (or whatever they ask) front cost. You can find that info in their kickstarter campaign: https://www.kickstarter.com...
The word on the street is that the base price will be U$35. What I feel it's fair for what they are promising.
I really liked what I saw so far with Temtem. There is sidequests, dialogue options and the main campaing is playable in co-op. The only thing that I disliked was the little sounds that the npcs make when they start talking. I really hope that we can turn that off.
Steamspy lost its accuracy when Steam revamped their privacy settings. And it's platform literally created and managed by a Epic Games employee.
I would take those stats with a huge bag of salt.
Well, it's summer in the southern hemisphere.
@Question_Mark
Yes, it was: https://www.nintendo.com/ga...
It was only released as a digital download. But it does feature improvements like support for off scree gaming.
To be honest I'm rather surprised that they haven't ported Xenoblade Chronicles X for the Switch already. It sold alright on the Wii U, it doesn't have any mechanic that would be impossible to replicate on the Switch and it definitely have more "mass appeal" than other stuff that they ported like Tokyo Mirage.
I feel that this "source" is either dishonest or out of touch with the reality. The Wii VC was not something unique in 2006 like he tries to portrait. Being able to download roms of the internet goes back to the 90s and it was arguable easier at that time as many companies didn't really bother to take those sites down.
I agree that the service as whole lost it's novelty and a big part of it's public. But I feel that it have more to do with how slow Nin...
I do agree with most of what you said. But Xenoblade Chronicles is a Wii game (not a Wii U one) and is not underrated in the slightest. Not only being considered the best RPG on the entire platform for a lot of folks, but also having already received ports for the Wii U and New 3DS.
I don't think that Bayonetta 3 or any other current game being developed by Platinum will suffer with any sort of censorship thanks to their new chinese overlords. Mainly because none of them are Platinum IPs. Bayonetta belongs to Sega and Nintendo have the publishing rights to the third title. While Babylon's Fall and Granblue Fantasy: Relink are owned by Square Enix and Cygames respectively.
What may be affected is their new games that will be likely self publishe...
That is what I call a sensationalist title.
The UFO is not even a real product, let alone a Switch killer.... It's just a concept, one of many that Dell has brought to the CES 2020. It might eventually go into production if they find a market for it. But as many other concepts it might as well just stay a concept.
I liked the cutesy visual style. But it is a mobile rogue-like, so I don't know about the gameplay.
Having played the Wii U original. I can say that it is a great RPG. Not as good as other Atlus games, but it managed to be fresh all while feeling familiar. But the censorship is a problem. Not only it doesn't make sense half of the time, like how a entire dungeon and quest line went from gravure modeling to plain modeling. On the original it make sense, because they are talking about swinsuits photoshots and the like. But on the western version it just doesn't, because the characters...
@Godmars290
I assume you never had a Xbox OG. That thing expressed all the strengths of Microsoft at the time, good games, amazing conversions of PC titles, better visuals at higher resolutions and by far the best online service of it's time.
And developmentent is top to bottom. Not bottom to top. So even if they do support the XOne family of devices until 2021 like Matt Booty mentioned in its interview or if they indeed release a weaker Lockhart down the line...
