I would bet that the One X was discontined as a consumer product to focus on the XCloud. As Miscrosoft had already announced that they planned to substitute the current One S boards on their servers for the One X in 2021.
The SAD was discontinued because was just a bad product. It would be a pretty useful device if it was $150~$200. But you would often find the normal S for less than it.
I'm really impressed that someone is actually having faith in Project Athia. What they showed so far was really "meh" and is being made by Luminous Productions whose employees worked previously on FF:XV. So not a particular steller resume.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart on the other hand looks amazing. The flow of that game just look liked something complete different from any other 3D platformer out there. And I'm curious for that Pragmata will be, as i...
I really think that you guys are giving too much credit to some series here. I mean Super Lucky's Tale 2 against Sack Boy Adventure? Both are platforms, but their brand power are completely different. Even if Super Lucky's Tale 2 was as good as like Mario game, I doubt it would sell well. The brand is just not that strong.
And more or less the same could be said about Project Athia and Returnal. One is a original game from a dubious developer that is yet to pump ou...
It's their biggest launch game for sure. At least until now.
There are some other exclusive stuff that looks dope like Scorn and some odd "timed exclusives" ones like Yakuza: Like A Dragon. But none of them have the brand power of Halo. Especially now that is trying to evoke que same feelings of the original trilogy.
Though Microsoft still have their game presentation tomorrow. So they might reveal some new stuff.
I think the reason is much more simple than that. Is literally what is available for them. And is not like they only focused on "old" games. They also announced that new Bomberman (that looks amazing btw), Crayta (that looks super dope if you have friends) and Outcasters (that looks meh).
At this point I would say that Stadia does have some games that I would love to play. However I'm still highly against their sale model.
I can't really look at this and see a first party controller. But this design is better than Sony sterile one.
Theres is two issues with Rayman being in Smash. The first is that he is not a japanese character, therefore there is a logistic issue with that. As 96% of the roster hail from Japan. And the second is that he neither have a sword or is a Fire Emblem character, so Sakurai doesn't know he exist (/s)
This is a better argument than most. But it's stil not good for the consumer when you take into acount the current sittuation with most triple AAA. That not only are full of MTX and DLC, but often times lock stuff in already more expensive versions of the game like Ubisoft's Ultimate Editions.
The true is that $70 for a AAA is going to be a blow for many people. Markets outside the US that already got price increases thanks to a reason or another will suffer even mo...
It really wouldn't make much sense as Microsoft would have to deal with licensing agreements for each and every platform that they support. That said if it was in the form of XCloud I could see it working and a modded Switch will likely be able to use it.
Shame.
I know most "gamers" really hated the thing. And it's undeniable that it did more harm than good the Xbox brand in this last gen. But it was a fun gimmick when it worked.
Only go for this one if you really want some "jet ski" racing. Because this is one of those titles that got hit by Sony new guidelines while in development and therefore there is barely any fanservice even though it's developed by the same folks that did the Senran Kaguras franchise.
Gameplay wise the common complaint that you will find from the eastern players is that it's too slow.
My assumption is that there are two versions of the game. So the Xbox One X is the only one that can run the "older" version at 4k. While the Xbox Series X is the only one that can run the "newer" version 4k.
While the PS4 Pro and PS5 likely can play at 4k as well. Just not true 4k.
PS Now have two issues as far as I'm aware:
1. It's not available on mobile;
2. It's catalog while vast, lacks a lot of Sonys own heavy hitters. For example: Uncharted 4, a four years old game at this point, is not available.
So most just sort of forget it is a thing.
Terrible idea. This is a transitory year for PC as well.
So buying a Gaming PC now is asking to get stuck with outdate tech and paying a lot of money. As the supply is low in a lot of markets.
I get that importance for portable devices, but for something that will get stuck besides your TV? But in any case, it's lighter, but really not by a lot (5 kg vs 4.78 kg). And the listing is exactly the same for both models (Digital and Normal), so it might not be correct at all.
This was a very "good" year to build a PC. As it's a transition year with many new technologies hitting the market. What made most of the "old" hardware receive some sort of discount in the major retailers (that was until the pandemic made the supply take a nose dive).
That said if you are planning on buying a PC in order to upgrade it down the line. You should wait. As if you buy anything now, chances are that you are going to get stuck with some ol...
Genitalia is in general is a "no no" in Japan. Even what you call hentai or straight up porn is censored there. Though I heard there was some "pressure" to alleviate those restrictions in some segments.
For now. Though Samsung new 980 Pro have the same nominal speed as the one on the PS5 and it's supposed to launch between now and the end of august and they will sold with larger storage capabilities.
That said the PS5 should be faster, because of all the system level optimizations that it supposedly have. At least as long as it doesn't hit a bottleneck when decompressing something..
I don't think that the game is one of the most hated in the series. But if we are talking about only the main series, there are only 4 of those. And between all of them the third is the worst. It have some cool ideas, but you don't feel playing a game of series for the majority of it and lot of mechanics needed more time in the oven.
That said. It's not a bad game at all. It's one of the best Mega Drive RPGs out there and could use a remake (well the whole ...
I think this is the first time that I like a gold plated version more than the traditional one.
