I think this is the first small game that Epic allowed to be released on their store as well as on Steam.

The cart number 2 looks like the best deal. Games like Chips Challenge and Blue Lightning are actually pretty good.
From the first cart I know about Dracula the Undead and that is only because the game was sort of graphical showcase for the console.

In any case I hope they keep going with more platforms and games.

I have to hand it to Epic Games. Only took them short of two whole years to start implementing the feature. Maybe when they celebrate 2 years of existence they will roll out the feature for every game. And two years from now we might even get a shopping cart!

I liked the game so far. And it's the most polished early access title I've ever played. The only problem is that there is a lack of content, especially in terms of survival as there are not many threats or variable scenarios. Obviously that is something that will be addressed as they develop the game, being a early access and all. But if you went to it now, expecting Minecraft 1.5 levels of possibilities you are going to be disappointed.

And besides the game being...

I mean it's is a PR maneuver, everything that Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft or any other big corporation does is a PR maneuver.

However I don't think it was a poor decision in itself. Because if that was the case, they could just make the more earlier releases cross-gen, like Nintendo did with Twilight Princess and BotW. Instead they pledged to keep suporting the platform. So I sse this as they trying to keep people engaged in their Game Pass subscription for a little ...

I really doubt that they will go full with it.
Likely it was used to justify the fact that Halo Infinite and maybe a couple of other titles that were already in development would come to the XOne. As well as their current ongoing games like Sea of Thieves that are just going to continue on the Series X.

However at this time, next year, I doubt that we will see many new announcements for crossgen games.

It's possible and they should do that. Because once the new generation of consoles release, they will have a hard time getting attention from consumers and the media.

It's likely coming as well as the PC versions of the rest of the series. But I feel Sega is sort of in a mess because of lack of remakes for Yakuza 3, 4 and 5. For PS4 it was fine to release the remasters as at least some of the playerbase knew those games from the PS3 era. But for PC and Xbox it will be sort of a drag to go from the high polished Yakuza 0, Kiwami and Kiwami 2 to those titles.

The DLC is not droping. Is still in works acordingly to them.

Yes, it was not going to come over to the PS4 because Microsoft had the publishing rights to it and likely would not allow it to happen.

However in this last stream they explained that Microsoft give them their blessing to port the title to whatever platform they wanted. So now it's coming to the PS4.

I mean you are free to have your own taste.
But as a game and especially as a Fallout title, I would put Fallout 3 far bellow New Vegas.

2144d ago 1 agree2 disagreeView comment

It's possible. Obsidian already proved that they can do Fallout better than Bethesda with New Vegas. And The Outer Worlds had a solid foundation but felt like they didn't really have the budget to make a more complete experience. Then there is the fact that they do know how to make RPG systems as show by their catalog of cRPGs.

He will only say good things about them, jumping between both platforms generation to generation.

@Telfon02

By that same token the game was released to much success on the Switch. Being on the list of the top sellers and even now it is still front center in their Indie recommendations. So the fact that Game Pass is managing to pull the XOne numbers over the combine amount of players on both the Switch and PS4 is still impressive. As they all released at the same time.

This looks interesting, especially the dual world mechanic for puzzles and such. However the dude commenting over the gameplay sort of broke the atmosphere.

That is only part of it. Because accordingly to the podcast those numbers are only for the Xbox One Game Pass. While PC players have access to the same service and game (by less money, mind you) they are not playing it as much:

"You get a sum ahead of time which is guaranteed... not a lot of people playing the game on Xbox Game Pass on PC... but definitely a lot of people playing on Xbox Game Pass on Xbox One... Right at this moment, there are more people playing on Xb...

That doesn't really look that good. It's not bad per see, but I think you can get more or less the same quality while emulating the PS2 title with some improvements.

The good news is that the Switch version should not look much worse than the PS4.

That is some great news. This game looks gorgeous, but I could never really get into a Dragon Quest title.
But as it's going to be on Game Pass I might as well as try it.

To be perfectly honest. I would probably like a black PS5 more than the standard model as well. Though a 2 GB SSD seems like as big of a waste of money as gold plating a console.

Not only Persona. The Yakuza series also sold a reasonable number of copies, Monster Hunter fixed itself in the top seller spot and Microsoft ports are doing great on Steam.

Even Horizon Zero Dawn sold a lot on it's first couple of pre-order days. Then Sony more than doubled it's price and it dropped from the top 10. But it still going strong.
