Can't wait for the PC release.
The original was very Zelda-esque, but it was fun. And this one looks like they took the original idea and expanded it threefold.
This is weird as heck.
It's just everything in a single package and it really doesn't look bad.
If they are going to pitch something against the new consoles will either be their notebook lineup or the RTX 3060. Unless AMD manage to surprise everybody with actually competitive card, the RTX 3080 will be alone at the top without competition and therefore will be expensive.
@IGiveHugs2NakedWomen
I'm not going to spoil you. But no, that is not the reason.
That was what I believe as well. The videos don't lie, unless there are some deus ex machina moment that reverts everything. That is what we will get.
The written stuff might and is likely fake though.
I'm not talking about Nintendo providing their own streaming service. I'm talking about them allowing the XCloud to be accessible from the Swtich.
Likely in preparation for the XCloud and don't think they will limit themselves to TVs. Smartphones and TV boxes are also likely to be bundled with it.
It would be cool as heck if Nintendo allowed it on the Switch. But I wouldn't hold my breath.
Probably because old and most games on Microsoft Store are UWP and Steam deals with exe. So they have some work to do there. Plus they actually put work on those Steam versions. They don't just make a glorify link to their store like Ubisoft used to do and EA is starting to do.
Honestly I feel they should just focus on XCloud in Japan and XCloud/PC Gamepass in China/Korea.
It's a custom PC based on a Ryzen Embedded SoC and a custom Linux distro. Basically you can use it as a normal PC, but Atari customization would also offer a more streamelined experience with it's own store, being close to a traditional console.
The idea itself is not bad. But the hardware is just lacking for 2020. It should be comparable to a Athlon 3000G machine, that means that a game like The Witcher 3 would suffer to reach 30 fps running on low settings and 72...
According to rumors they already had those files. Is just the first time that they were made public.
They are not trying to repeat the original XOne strategy. The whole point is getting you into the brand being it by means of actual hardware and/or services, that is why they are focusing so much in expanding their brand on PCs with the Xbox App and Gamepass, why they are putting resources on cloud solutions and why they will offer to rent the console to people so you don't even have to buy it in order to use it.
Yeah, that is why they want a ecosystem, not a console. It's really not that hard to grasp.
I'm not saying it's going to work. I'm just stating what they are trying to do.
Plus that is Microsoft plans for every single one of their segments, from personal user devices to corporated solutions.
Microsoft plans are greater than a console. They want a ecossystem.
Good for you buddy.
I never said the games were better. I said the service is overall better as far quality goes. But the games are newer.
It's not really about having anything wrong with them. It's just that they are not up to the level of the stuff that got released on Steam way back when Valve picked each game that would be featured in their store. But they would pass through Green Light and I think they actually started there.
About Epic I don't think it's about quality with them either. Is more about getting games that have some buzz around. That's why they focus so much on crowdfunded...
I'm impressed on how well stuff sell on the Switch. The console already have a respectable library, but even stuff that would look subpar even on a mobile plattorm like iOS or Android sell well.
The devs are right about one thing though. Steam is not the golden ticked to sucess it once was. It's a side effect of having openning up the market for any game no matter how subpar it looks. But let's be honestly, if Steam hadn't oppened it's gates we wouldn...
Nope.
Because it's not linked to the console, it's linked to the first account to log in the console.
