Sure but that will happen with anything when you reach the point of "flooding a market". Another very current example of that is the Indie scene.
The issue is game compatibility. You can more or less force it using the Steam overlay. But native support is dependent of each developer.
That said if you are looking for a simmetrical thumbstick layout. You can't really go wrong with either the Logitech F310 or Logitech F710. Both of them have a switch to change between DirectInput and XInput. So you shouldn't run into compatibility problems. They are also pretty cheap and reliable.
Windows Mixed Reality are for all intent and purpose standardized devices. All of them pass the same requirements of the platform and as most of them are entry point devices they feature much less options than your more common PC VR like a VIVE or OCULUS. So it "just working" wouldn't be a problem at consoles as it is not on PCs.
Well, hypothetically they could extend Windows Mixed Reality to the Xbox console support. And make it compatible with a plethora of headsets. That would be nice for both Microsoft and the consumers. For them it would eliminate the risk and cost of developing dedicated hardware. And for us it would offer many options with varied price points that would actually not get stuck in time. Plus a lot of the current models do work using only HDMI and a USB 3.0.
Most console players are not tech-savvy enough for that to not invite trouble.
Unless you are one of those people that need to have all the new stuff as soon as possible. I would say that no. A new generation is never worth it at launch. The devices are hard to find, there are barely any game that really make use of the hardware and you are more prone to get hardware with issues.
For sure. Though as I said. It could have been much more successful if they didn't wasted four years on only two platforms. Even more because one of those two was the Vita.
Cheaper than the brazilian model ($885,21).
It's just a shame this game took so long to release outside of the Vita/PS4. It could have made so much more success.
I don't think there is a issue with using "clone" itself. The issue comes when you only use it to description a game. Because you set some expectations that might be way off. Genshin Impact is a perfect example of that. It does take stuff from Zelda, like the gliding and climbing. But the way combat works, the way physics don't really play a role on exploration, the way progression is made and the story/lore is presented are completely different. And more akin to something l...
Good luck with that.
Very nice opening. But this still look like the cheapest and laziest game in the whole series. I mean it's a remake of a remake that indeed does offer some new mechanics. But still pretty much look like the previous title. And unless that fishing mini-game is really unique and amazing, there is no reason for this to be a PS5 exclusive.
Yeah?
Games are meant to be entertaining. If you got that by playing games on easy that is fine. If you got that by playing games on "hell on earth 666" that is also fine.
Just try to not be kid and think everyone should like what you like.
I'm not sure if that is good or bad to be honest. Sure fetch missions are not popular. But having only combat missions don't look like a big of a improvement.
I mean at this point you should already realised that N4G is mostly a Sony fanboy meeting place.
Days Gone is only available for 3 months (until january 2021). So don't lose time if you are interested in it.
Really doubt that it turn the Switch into "just another device". The console would only gains with it as would it users.
I do agree that is unlikely that Nintendo would allow such service. After all the service aspect of the Switch is worse than what you can find in a "$50 toddler first tablet".
Actually that is harder. Those are likely not optimized for the console, so their improvements are coming from brute force. That means that as far as showing how stronger than the previous generation the Series X really is. This is really the best type of test.
It would however be better if he provided numbers as well.
Just put XCloud on the Switch already. Having a official way to stream games to the console would be great.
I think this is very debatable. Just like pretty much any gacha style game, if you are going to play f2p then you have balance your resources. As someone that is currently AR41 and haven't spend money on it. I can confirm that is completely possible to beat the vast majority of challenges in this game without buying anything. And that include the world bosses and the main story.
What you will struggle with is the domains and the abyss - basically arena fights. The first...
