Always nice to see more Otome games coming to this side of the world. Just a shame that they will be available only on the Switch.
In the future, when they release it as separated service? Yes. But that is why I said that for now I can't see many real world uses for the app.
Because right now the only way to use the service is by subscribing to the Game Pass Ultimate. And you will be leaving a lot of value on table if you subscribe to it only for the xCloud. To the point that it is much more reasonable to subscribe to All-Access for $ 10 more as you get the console, the controller and the Game Pass...
I mean you are not wrong. Stadia is the best developed streaming service. It features the best hardware and the games are to some extent optimized for streaming. It's flaw is the value proposition and that is here xCloud, GeForce Now and even PS Now have the upper hand.
Well the whole point of streaming is exactly easy availability. So in that regard having a smart TV app would be a pretty nice addtion. However as current you can only get access to xCloud by buying into the Game Pass Ultimate I feel that is safe to assume that most people that can use the service already have a Xbox plugged on their TVs or at least a PC that can domestic stream to it.
So at least for now I see very few real world uses for such app.
It's more that it need a patch. The Xbox One version - that I assume is the one that is being talked about - run at locked 30 FPS. So without a patch. Running it on backward compatibility will also land you at 30 fps.
Basically Sony has modified its policies regarding content within games and how they should be submitted for approval. The result is that many more "risky" titles ended up having to sanitize themselves if they were to be sold on the Playstation.
The issue with is that most companies that deal with this sort of title are not particularly big or rich. So they found themselves in a complicated situation. What some of them did was to create a completely new version ex...
Neither Developer Mode nor Emulation is illegal. For the latter you can even thank Sony for losing the case against a commercially available emulator back in the day.
Haven't played Gal Gun since the original. But I'm likely to get this one on launch if anything to show support to PQube and Inti Creates for not bowing to the will of a certain platform holder.
Steam is just going to brute force it. They already made a lot of progress.
The main issue is developers actually implementing it's functions.
Japan is particularly interesting because gaming in traditional consoles have been trending down for the last couple of years. In favor to mobile and portable approachs (see Switch succes). So if they played their cards right they might actually get a foothold in the country.
Mexico and Brazil are interesting because of the lower purchase power that the average citizen have. So a cheaper solution like XCloud might become popular there. That said the service will most likel...
Same thing really.
You couldn't though. The Xbox One X had a MSRP of $500.

Sure with some deals and such you might get luck enough to find one for $300 (Series S MSRP) and for the majority of the last year or so I saw it going for ~$400. But those were exceptional cases and the same will apply to the Series S once we start seeing deals fea...
From what I saw on reviews and stuff. We are talking more or less half of the content of the previous one on a very familiar map. So I can see why people wouldn't be happy about.
But it's also a "budget game" going for $50 instead of the $70 that new games will cost. So at least for me it still within expectation.
With the reception this one got. I doubt that we are going to see a Shenmue IV so I wouldn't bother playing it.
For Take-Two in particular I can't see that working either: Their 2k brand relays on yearly launches. Rockstar released 3 games in 5 years. And Private Division is a new kid with very little to its name.
This game just looks like such a cash grab. Yes, the visuals are better in comparison to the PS4, but that is only because the PS4 version looks more like something from the PS3. And they are even reusing the main 2D assets just with a new coat of paint on menus and such.
And to be honest if this was sold as a cheap remaster (that it is) I think it would be passable. But the price tag for this one is ¥7,600, or roughly $70.
It's pretty refreshing seeing a game of this kind without need to worry about what censored or watered-down.
Going by the price of the 3000 series I assume that they did that to boost the Ti or Super series once those get launched. Furthermore they did went with the more expensive GDDR6X. Meanwhile AMD's offerings are using GDDR6. So there is that as well.
That is really cool. Fear is still one of the best shooters out there. Specifically because of the wait they fine tuned and scripted the combat. Something that to this day is still very rare.
This patch actually bring the game to more modern standards visually. So hopefully the more younger generation can appreciate it as well without getting stuck in the outdated graphics.
This is one of the most "niche" months that they ever done. It's not bad per see, but it is lacking something more mainstream.
That said I'm getting it for the Shining Resonance Refrain and Zwei games.
