That fps drop at (0:30 - 0:40) was pretty noticeable. I hope it's some problem with youtube compression tool.
I played the demo (Pre-alpha) made available on Steam and I really liked what I saw. It's basically a polished PSONE RPG, the characters are interesting and the wordbuilding looks like it's going to be phenomenal.
The combat system is fun because it is based on a quick time event, however, do not just hit the button when it appears on the screen you need to press the right moment to multiply the damage done or split the damage received.
I'll d...
Yeap, chapter 2 was partially rewritten to make sense in the west, since in the localization process they removed all references to the profession of Gravure Idol and with it all original context of that part of the game.
I'm more concerned with the frame rate as the original title was absurdly poorly optimized. It could not keep up at 60fps on PS4 and reportedly the PS Vita version falls below 20fps often.
I really hope that this sequel does not have the same performance issues.
Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE was "planned" to be underrated, especially in the West. The game had a very specific theme that appealed to a very specific consumer, but the localization work was so absurd - to the point that hip bones of certain models were removed - that they actually managed to alienate their core audience.
I imagine that the absence of a physical version for Revelations 2 has to do with the game'size and the willingness of the company to save some change with the cartridges. But other than that are good news for the console, I hope Capcom will continue to suport the platform.
This is true for most Japanese developers, but does not apply to Nihon Falcon. They started out as a studio that developed exclusively for home computers and have kept their focus on computers for over 20 years.
They just changed the company's focus to consoles (PSP being the main platform) in 2006 and just because the market for computer games had become completely unviable in Japan. So yes, if Steam had penetrated that territory before, it is quite possible that Nihon...
Perhaps the way I put it led you to make that wrong conclusion. But again I am not addressing the fact that it is an illness or not, because that is not my area of expertise, let alone my area of interest. And I certainly would not make a conclusion after a quick google search.
So my focus was on referring to something larger in order to assert that the individual has the right to not support anything that he does not identify or believe in regardless of the reasons behind ...
I believe you did not understand my point. I was not referring to the fact that it is an illness or not. Because as I said before I lack the prior knowledge and honestly the willingness to discuss this subject.
I have employed "personal beliefs" in a broader sense to refer to any subject that an individual may not agree with. Not just the one raised here.
I will not go in the commentary about mental illness because my knowledge of the biological and psychological aspects of these individuals are extremely limited. But you have full right to ignore something that does not fit your personal beliefs.
Now that's the kind of thing I can support. Instead of crying that a certain franchise is not representative of a certain group and requiring it to change to accommodate personal beliefs that studio is instead creating something completely new from its own conceptions.
The article however could try to further explore the gameplay aspect of the game in order to better inform on what we can expect beyond the differentiated main character. But I guess that the author's...

Honestly, I do not have enough experience with the PowerVR solutions used by Apple so I can't really compare their features directly with a Nvidia solution. And that is precisely why I said the Switch "might" have an advantage in that department.
So if you have any literature on the subject that you can share, I would be grateful.
Not really.
The newest Ipads and Iphones are more powerful in terms of hardware. But they are not optimized for gaming so the Switch might have some leverage in that particular department.
Mine was the translucent green body and black rubber grips version. I believe that it came after the one that you are describing, but I'm not sure.
In any case it worked great and took care of the sweaty hands problem.
@Godmars290
Sure, that's exactly why so many Japanese developers might stick with the Vita for a little longer. The lack of first party titles leaves the market with less competition which means that titles that would once go unnoticed are now perceived by the console's owners.
Also the Vita already have a big enough player base in Japan and have very low development costs when compared with any other console. That said, the Nintendo Switch could ...
Back in the day I had a Nyko Airflo for the OG Xbox. It worked great and was a must for some of my folks so is pretty cool to see a new deviation on that concept.
@Genuine-User
For now, I find it hard to say anything about Switch taking the PS Vita's place as the main platform for these devs. Obviously, it has the potential, but it's too soon to really say anything concrete.
Vita is a main platform for a lot of japanese developers so it's not really a surprise.
That's what I expect too. More specifically, Atari has a game called Atari Vault which is a collection of 2600/Arcade classics with some new features like online multiplayer and score boards.
Personally I believe that this software will be the basis of the console.
However, the installed base of both consoles is quite different in Japan. With the 3DS outselling the PS4 by a margin of 4 to 1.
So no matter how better looking the PS4 version is, the fact that it manage to move more copies is extremely unexpected.
