56% is a small majority. Meaning almost half (44%) of the game copies were sold on PS5. Not like 70% or more of sales were on PC.

I don't know if your a fanboy or what but the dislikes you're seeing are unfounded.
Last week gamers were all against Xbox and now we have self-proclaimed PS fanboys saying Xbox brought the heat when most of what was on show is not exclusive and not even launching this year. Given how messed up MSFS 2020 was I'm not excited and I picked up the second highest tier version of that game day one on PC for $90.

You also have a few other b...

What did MS show here that made PS's most recent presentation look bad?

PS's most recent presentation didn't have much to show and that was what made it weak. What about MS' showcase? 6 gameplay trailers and the rest were cinematic trailers almost everyone complains about? A new GoW game with no release date and no gameplay shown...

More hype from team green, where have we seen that before? Ah, right, 'I'm Foxtrot and I was just bo...

In order for PCs to support DS there needs to be drivers... guess what? Those exist in the games. If they didn't you wouldn't be able to use DS features even if the comtroller is wired to the PC. In order for games to support things like Adaptive Triggers, the software needs to include reasons to engage the feature as well as a means to actually utilize said feature. If PC had drivers on an OS level instead of per game basis the games themselves would still need to include support for...

And yet Mario is shelved Zelda had 2 games this entire gen both very similar to eachother in the same open world with some new areas tacked on... I'm old enough to remember everyone clowing on Marvel's Spider-man 2 for having new boroughs added to the same old open world... but Tears of the Kingdom got a pass there. So many of Nintendo's past IP are also dormant. One new and only ok Metroid game in Dread and a remix of F-Zero with online in F-Zero 99... somehow that's good eno...

As Fishy Fingers said, the game renders internally at 8K but the output to any TV (even an 8K TV if any truely exist) is 4K. Maybe PS5 can be updated to support 8K output just as PS4 received an update to allow for HDR, but since they're removing the lable I assume that means there are no plans for that.

The Touryst is 8K60 on PS5 6K60 on Series X. Digital Foundry agreed with Shin'en's assessment.

[In another thread: I wrote Majesco as the developer Majesco is a publisher who helped release some of Shin'en's older games on GBA; I also wrote the title of the game as "Toyurist" not "The Touryst" based on my recollection of the pronunciation used by Digital Foundry's own Richard Leadbetter]

The PS5 has 1 8K60 game, even DF recognized what Majesco said about The Toyurist.

Digital stores are not free to run. There are the data centers storage sometimes rented out from other providers or the facility exists in rented out space or costs a ton to run when the provider is the store owner not just that but taxes on everything including electricity usage. Digital is convenient, but it costs a lot to run and maintain, so prices stay the same.

@Vits
You could say the same for DualSense and yet all the PS5 games ported support it fully when wired. I would like to think that PS could or would allow their software (if ported) to more completely utilize the headset and VR2's Sense controllers. That would make sense. Of course I'm not saying PS couldn't screw this up, they definitely could. Right now, there is no mention of PS5 VR2 games making the jump to PC.

Why in the world would anyone think t...

Why would headset rumble and adaptive triggers be supported when no PC games support those features? You still get controller rumble, finger tracking, 3D audio and foveated rendering without eye tracking. The only real loss is no HDR which is a real head-scratcher and no eye tracking. How many headsets and VR games support eye tracking? Not many, but to be fair bigger and the most popular VR games, like HL: Alyx and VR Chat respectively, support eye tracking.

This still see...

Kind of ironic that Astro Bots is the only PS 1st party title and PS5 exclusive... no?
I mean it seems like Astro Bots is a lot of fun, but that is something you think PS needs to reevaluate.

MS is a huge international corporation. They're only stupid of their own making. Xbox and MS as a whole need to shape up or ship out.

If the strategy doesn't work they'll pull their games from PC yet again.

This happened before, in the 90s and yes I'm one of the PC to PS converts and ultimately it was Psygnosis' future WipEout games going to PSP that pushed me over the edge. If PS games on PC continue to underperform PS will pull out of the PC market. They know releasing day and date on PC will only give PS gamers a reason not to buy their HW and this might result in software just not sell...

Lol. A lot of those games were PS3 games franchises, and a lot of PC gamers picked up a PS, PS2, PS3, and a PS4 for those games. Why wouldn't the same happen for PS5??? Even the biggest PC fanboys admit they have at least one current console. There aren't as many hold-outs as you think there are. I myself got my start playing videogames on PC as a young child. PC quickly became secondary to PS even as most of my favorites were on PC... what I didn't know was that my favorite PC ga...

While I agreed... I also can not agree completely. Many of my PC games from pre-2000s era do not support a controller through non-official means ("non-official" means I can't map KB/M commands to a controller without the need for 3rd party apps). I would prefer not having to download shoddy apps from Joe's Programming Imporium™ just to play ye olde PC games. In those cases I make due with KB/M. Also, game preservation is hit or miss for the same reason...

Were none of you around in the 90s?
PS already did this and likely I'm not the only PC to PS convert. Even if I were the only person on Earth to see the horrible direction of PC gaming and recognizes the PC platforms failures only got worse (DRM only became more draconian and now phyiscal games are like a myth with GPU manufacturers - not just Nvidia - making mistakes left and right with APIs degrading performance of games more than the aforementioned draconian DRM along with the...

Back in the 90s my favs were PS 1st party games on PC. Thing is I didn't know it. As PS started publishing my favorites, I left PC as a platform behind at least largely speaking. I still have a decent PC, but I don't do a lot of gaming on it and don't ever feel pressure to upgrade like I used to. PC as a platform has so many massive drawbacks and when I was young my OCD didn't help. Even getting treated for OCD and trying some recent PC games I still fell into old habits tweak...
