@UCForce
I would say worse things to MS and especially Nintendo right now!
Sony is actually doing right by its consumers right now. I love how people anticipate the worst from the top dog. Maybe... Wait until they actually •••• up before declaring Sony are arrogant to the needs of their base.
Anyway regarding Nintendo's BS blue ocean strategy... Nintendo is not in blue ocean territory right now anyone who thinks there are no powerful cheap gaming optio...
@P_Bomb
Right! Look at all the people who can read and yet if a book sells a quarter of a million it may wind up as a best-seller, yeto one ever declares success or failiure based on the fact that ~800 million or so people read English but only 0.0003125% of the population bought a book they can read...

@Matrix6
No, it is also available in the US online at Walmart but many still believe that Switch is completely out of stock globally because it fits a narrative that Switch would be handily outselling PS4 if not for supply shortages.
In reality there are shortages but not to the extent that Nintendo's fanboys are claiming. If Switch were plentiful nationwide in the US it would still not be outselling PS4.
Guess Tegra X1 wasn't cutting edge when it launched either?
How about the first OLED screen? Was the first computer cutting edge, or car, AC cooling, AC electricity, the first wheel? Being "on the cutting edge of innovation" means your the first and or the best for a long time. The first people to make something that people can use are "cutting edge".
The Nintendo switch is not cutting edge. PS Vita was cutting edge because it was ahead of the game wi...
@Shiken
You once wrote long ago: "Mobile games are no where near dedicaded handheld/console games, period."
Problem is when PS4 and even when Xbox One launched there were games that showed the power of these systems compared to their much more powerful PC counterparts... Spoiler: games like DRIVECLUB showed PS4 wasn't weak at all in fact it wasn't until more than a year later when games on PC caught up in the visuals department qith games like Bat...
Modern day restrictions?
I will concede that Switch is a super PS Vita but in saying that we already know hoq poorly Vita did. Granted Nintendo does very well with handheld hardware.
The issue is that like the Vita Nintendo is effectively selling Switch as a home console you can take with you... And we can see that Nintendo's goals there really don't stack up thanks mostly to Switch's absolutely abysmal battery life.
Well time will tell. My opinion is th...
I mean even PS Vita did it... Doesn't mean it was easy for Sony though.
Mobile is a very crowded space right now. Blue ocean strategy though, right?
I think Nintendo made a huge mistake.
@Edmix
Love how people see your name and instantly disagree. I get that you're a "fanboy" but people should recognize a good statement.
Nintendo can't just cater to its base anymore they didn't save them with Wii U and won't rush to their aid with Switch unless Nintendo captures a wider appeal. Nintendo's gimmick this time round is more compelling than their last and also the one that's causing the most problems regarding 3rd party...
Sony's PS4 also uses those chips as do other major smartphone makers.
YET NO OTHER COMPANY IS SEEING A HARDWARE SHORTAGE!
If this doesn't make you question "The Great Nintendo Switch Famine of 2017" then I don't know what will!.

If you want to rejig the poll position 3DS will likely still wind up with a gold in second place while Switch may take up bronze in fourth.
See Xbox One with all its stumbling, stammering, dizzying dry spells and bad public reputation has seen decent sales it is still suggested that sales of Xbox One are nearly half of that of PS4's sales.
Honestly I just don't see Switch selling 30 million units by the end of its lifecycle. I could definitely be wrong here...
Yeah, but the 3DS launched early 2011 PS4 launched late 2013.
3DS has Pokemon and Mario plus Fire emblem and plenty of other huge Nintendo exclusive titles... Unfortunately PS4 is poised to fly past the 3DS aligned lifetime sales show PS4 is well ahead of the 3DS.
There are 2 PS4 models and what like five trillion different 3DS models now?

Sony has Gravity Rush (1st party), Knack, (1st party) Little Big Planet (1st party), Horizon (1st party), Puppeteer (1st party), Tearaway (1st party), EyePet (1st party), Beyond: Two Souls (2nd party), DRIVECLUB (1st party RIP Evolution Studios) and last but certainly not least and the series the faceless voice in the video is blaming for the current plauge of all of gamings generic-ness... This utterly moronic opinion (if not satire) is exactly what John Carmack was talking about.
Games aren't changing.
But is that a bad thing?
Look Rez was unique but when a game that comes along later that does similar things does that make it an uninspiring clone? ...Well in truth it could be, but it also might fix some broken aspects of the original game while adding some new twists. Please explain why Spiderman, DRIVECLUB, The Order 1886, Ratchet and Clank, WipEout: Omega Collection, MGSV, Uncharted 4, etc, etc looked slightly better to significantly better than most of PC exclusives?

Review some Red Faction: Guerrilla gameplay... Then try spewing the BS you did earlier again.
Remember Red Faction: Guerilla had fully destructible environments and it ran on Xbox 360 natively without any internet connection... That's impressive because the X360 is weaker than PS3 and yet full destruction without any need for "cloud power"!
If Switch hits 10 mil by march it isn't doing as good as PS4. Not a failiure by any means but not at all selling at a rate that could cause a manufacturer of Nintendo's age and experience to still not be meeting demand which is the point of the article.
Where I live there is no shortage... But the article and most people here disagree. Fine... The question now is why is there a shortage now 4 months after launch when Nintendo is selling less than 1 million Switches a month?
...
Can't believe people are still defending these "not fake" hardware shortages.
To everyone thinking Nintendo is not holding back but is also loaded qith cash and smart as a business and capable as a manufacturer... WHY ARE NINTENDO "unable" TO MEET DEMAND?
Look at Sony selling over 1 million PS4s in 24 hours. PS4 is still selling at a rate over 1 million units a month (when looking at the current total sales and months on the market).
@beggda35
What was that... Please it isn't amature hour, is it? Well anyway.
